I have two replies to this comment. First reply, the man has a young family and works full time, give him a chance. Second reply what I actually think. The man offers you a stick for nothing is willing to post it, £12 at his expense and your moaning, get a grip. Maybe if you offered to pay the postage as you are getting the stick for nothing, it would be a good gesture? Just remember you will have to pay the postage on any stick you buy any way. TC -

I know that the criteria of breeding has changed, but that does not change the fact that the 'old' laws of natural selection as you call them are still valid today. Off on a tangent, could this experimentation on keeping people alive be a plot by the elite to find the elixir of everlasting life?

We are no longer subject to natural selection imo. When babies that would have died through some genetic malfunction, so as not be able to pass it on, are artificially kept alive through modern medicine only to breed and propagate the same genetic malfunction in their children. Is that good for the species? TC

Another factor in overpopulation, is that we as a race seem to think that life is sacred, it's not. Previously only the strongest lived and got to breed. Now even the weakest survive and get to breed. That cannot be good for any species, man will eventually kill himself off with kindness. Hard I know, but the truth none the same. TC

Most of the problem with over population is caused by modern medicines, people are just not allowed to die any more, they must be kept alive at all costs just as an experiment as to how far they can take medicine. TC

To start a clove hitch around the top of the peg you have to make sure that the line coming towards the peg is on the top of the first loop. Jesus sorry I spoke! for someone starting out I think it covers a lot of valid points. I'll just read the threads in future. I think you will find that the post was meant for OTC and was not aimed at you. You will need a thicker skin to enjoy this forum. As with all walks of life you have some that think they are above others, this forum is no different, in fact it mirrors real communities and their characters really well I would say. TC

I have never set a trap (rats apart) in my life. yet I am willing to bet I could set a passable mole trap. But no way could I set it and tell you that it will catch. Setting traps is easy it's the where and why is the important part. That is what is never spoken about. It takes years of real hard work and no little failures to work the important part out. TC

Thinking about it, Kevin's reasoning has nothing to do with the welfare of the animals, just the fact that young rabbits that may or may not reach maturity are being killed, there by possibly denying people future sport. Sounds all if's and's and but's to me. TC

Kevin, Your frazes mate are you not? I can understand why you would think like that, but rabbits have to be controlled, it really is that simple, if it goes against what you believe is right then don't do it. There are places where it would not be possible to let every Tom Dick or Harry on to control the rabbits. It could just be one rabbit in a garden or hundreds in an oil refinery it makes no difference. TC

I would leave it a bit to make sure the grass weeds are growing, I was looking at doing it in mine and the patio but will leave it for a while. I know grass will grow when the ambient temperature reaches 7c so I would be looking at the beginning of next month before I spray mine. TC
