  1. Whats the difference TC? Spun nylon stretches like you would not believe. Spun polyester has no stretch worth recording. I had a ball of spun nylon given to me ,I held a piece about 2ft long in my hands and was able to stretch it almost 2". As long as the nets are made with a smaller mesh gauge then there is no problem, in fact it can be an advantage having some stretch as long as the right sized mesh is used. TC
  2. When I read all the different opinions on here, some make real grim reading. I think to myself what could I do as a British citizen to make things better for us all? I have now come to the conclusion that there is nothing the man on the street can actually do. As usual we are just pawns in the bigger scheme of politics. TC
  3. The topic is spun nylon, yet you are all talking about spun polyester. There is a hell of a difference between the two. TC
  4. I can appreciate the work that has gone in to that. TC
  5. Don't break the bigger chunks up leave the frost get in them they will then make for a finer tithe. When they freeze they expand and break down easier when they thaw. TC
  6. Are mole runs the same diameter or do they vary? If they are roughly the same diameter would a trigger something like this work? It would allow you to have the forks wider yet still catch the mole around the chest area when triggered. Please don't all shout at once, it's just an idea. TC
  7. Just thinking on that, if as in the video that was put up earlier to get the width of the forks wider you have to put the trigger further back, would not that then affect the quick killing abilities of the trap, in that it is not hitting the mole around the chest area? TC
  8. I read an article the other day about the Welsh training camp. I cannot remember which English player was quoted in it, I think it may have been Robshaw, but I am not 100% sure. I have tried to look for the article again but just cannot find it. Anyway the quote from the English player was that "you would never get me doing that" "they must be really tired." I believe the jist of it is, that Wales training consists of 90% gym work and 10% playing training. The object is that they are aiming to peak fitness wise for the world cup. Now whether that is just a pre game blarney in case they lo
  9. I know nothing about trapping moles, never tapped one (shot a few though) and doubt if I ever will. How does the trauma compare with the legs of the trap hitting the spine and sternum compare to the legs hitting the sides of the rib cage? Does it make any difference? TC
  10. France Scotland was an enjoyable game. An effort to play some rugby by both teams. Scotland have some good youngsters learning the job and quite quickly as well. TC
  11. ....?....?. FFS it's called banter. I have given my honest opinion post match now quote that and ?????? TC
  12. Yep they offered nothing. The ref imo done to Wales the second half what he did to England in the first, penalised them off the park. He called a maul and blew up within a second of the maul going down. A player has to be given a chance to place the ball especially when you are going forward. There were some odd decisions out there tonight against both sides. I think Wales though all they had to do was step out for the second half and they would win. England on the other hand showed they have what it takes to win, the right mentality. TC
  13. No excuses best team on the day won. TC
  14. Well done england totally out played us in the second half. TC
  15. A well desrved try there. Tw@ts lol
  16. you will never hear a better anthem. TC
  17. Don't get your hopes up for a fast flowing game, the roof is open and there is already dew on the pitch making it very slippery underfoot. I think the person who likes tactical rugby will enjoy this kicking feast, could be a lot of scrums if the ball is slippery. TC
  18. Save some Welsh cakes for me! She is only making one batch FFS ....... I made a tin full yesterday, this is all thats left. Barsterwards have been at them and I had them hidden. TC
  19. Just a reminder of the last time you were in Cardiff. And a little taste of whats to come tonight. TC
