  1. Rabbit works really well with strong flavours, such as Curry, Bolognese,Cajun etc. or even the humble stew. If you can get a mincer then it widens the recipe list even further, just use it instead of beef mince.
  2. Thank you guys and girls Your right Stormyboy, most have thrown towards the Bull mastiff side, large heads, necks and shoulders, with short broad muzzles. Theirs two that are looking slimmer, with slightly more nose to them. I believe they'll probably turn into slimmer Bullmastiff's rather than large muscular Lurchers. There's some photo's and a video in the Working dog health and training section. Haven't taken any more recent ones yet. Cheers again Luke.
  3. I've just been trying to work out the percentages of Tia's pups. Roo we think is a 1/4 Bull 3/4 Grey (he's a rescue). Tia is 3/8 Bull and 5/8 Mastiff. So I think I've got this right. Their 5/16 Bull, 5/16 Mastiff and 6/16 Grey. Is this correct? Cheers for any help. Luke.
  4. Time, date and exact location required so I can go and confirm your sighting! LOL
  5. Stunning mate, and all these video's are convincing me to get mine outside in a kennel. At what age did you put them outside? All the best Luke.
  6. Them Boots look far to new and clean for a hill stalker! LOL
  7. Feed them to the dogs mate cheapest high quality dog food available!!!
  8. I'm sorry for your loss. Did you find out what it was? All the best Luke.
  9. Always used Opinel for years, Then my dad bought me a Gerber Gator for my 21st. Great knife with non slip handle, and Razor edge. It's been a briliant knife, unlike a Opinel that has to be sharpened vitually everytime it's used, this has only been sharpened a dozen times in eight years. I also ought myself a cheapish Sheath knife for the tougher jobs ( cutting wood, popping joints etc) it made by Whitby and is again a very good knife for the money. Doesn't get as sharp or stay as sharp as the expencive blades but a good tool for a job.
  10. I'm sure our americian, Aussie or Kiwi members could point you in the right direction, They use them a lot so will have field tested quite a few types I expect.
  11. Pup is looking great would be interested to see the rest of the litter. See if they've thrown towards the Lurcher body with the bully head? Looks like that little'un should be able to do both parents type of work All the best Luke.
  12. Always use Chambers for my spares. Another Relum Tornado Owner!!! that makes two of us! lol. I used to wait for the school bus outside a fishing tackle shop and it was in the window for month's. I saved every penny I earnt to buy it, but one day it disapeared someone had beat me to it. My 12th Birthday comes around and theres a long, slim present tucked under the tree!!! My parents had bought it for me. I spent my money on scopes, mounts and 1000 Eley Wasps for it. I was out with it constantly and have some great memories wih it. I rebuilt mine last year but as yet haven't tried anything
  13. You can buy it off the internet cheap. Also no prescription required. Just type it into Googl.
  14. Also pace out the closest and farthest visable decoy from you so you know the ranges. eg - closet decoy at 25yds, farthest at 35yds.
  15. Just off for a spot of breakfast AT work! LOL!
  16. Dissolved sugar in warm milk for Shock etc just to get them back if the dog has collapsed. An idea I got from this site was to give the dogs a 1/2 pint carton of custard during Lunchtime when beating. It has the gluecose in it for instant energy but also contains proteins for longer lasting results. Easy to keep in the car, easy to feed and is a good pick me up whilst the dog is resting through lunchtime. I always used to just give them a mars bar at lunch but have now swapped.
  17. That means their buying from wholesalers (only buying in the favorite cuts of meat, not whole/half carcess). Go back and ask them where they get their meat from. They should be able to give you a name of the wholesaler who should still have all the bones, scraps and cheap cuts.
  18. Nice one Davy!!! LMAO!!! I don't even realise the time usually! sit up and watch a movie or two on the computer with a whiskey or three and hey presto it's 2.15 in the morning! Half my posts seem to be at about 2, 3 or 4am My missus works night's and the little'un goes to bed about 9 so it's the only time I get to relax! She'll wake me up for work at 8 as she climbs in! so hot bedding it! lol
  19. Thank you! I'm sure everyones first litter is the same, I just don't want any of them to go!!! Two left needing homes but not started advertising yet, thought I should leave it until they were 4-5 weeks? I think he's a handsome lad but then again I am biased! and Tia's just so ugly, she's cute! lol Still can't work out what the pups will look like though? Thank you for the comments. Luke.
  20. Bloody hell! hope the little fella's ok. Good Luck Luke.
