    This is the reason why i always have my labrador off the lead but at heal all the time when I'm walking the dogs. She'll stay at heal unless i tell her otherwise and she'll protect me and the other dogs. It's usually bloody women around here walking bloody boxers or labradoodles. They do tend to give us a wide birth now and generally make sure there dogs are on the lead when they see us.

    Dave, My mates looking for a dog pup, What hip scores are the sire and dam. He had just got a dog trained up for this season and had to have it put to sleep due to ongoing hip problems at just 18 months old. (He bought the pup from wales without papers!!)

    My Irish setter elk trackers have done 5 seasons upto now and just about to start there 6th season, i wouldn't buy another boot. Just make sure you give them a wash off and put some chelsea leather feed on from time to time and they will last you.

    The buzzards will be flying into the pen, release pens don't have top mesh on the pen. They have mesh on the sides with funnels and pop holes allowing poults back into the pen but not charlie. Most also have an electric fence around to discourage fox and badger from entering the pens. Unless charlie grows wings he won't get in to the pens.

    My friend owns a gun shop and he does a lot of goose /pigeon shooting and he shoots a SX3, He considers the sx3 to be the best semi auto on the market for price and reliability. If you saw his gun you would know why!! he never cleans the bugger and it always cycles!!

    Hang some cd's up around the pen, it may help. But once they have found the poults they will only stop when they have had them all!!. Only one way to stop it now.
