  1. I've just been looking through the members gallery and a member has posted a photo that i took of my labrador Fern retreiving a partridge claiming it to be there dog!!!!! how sad is that... The other fact is that the image has been copied from this forum... I'll not be posting anymore images on here now without putting a copyright right through the middle...

  4. Are they out the same bitch he bred last year?
  5. Good for you CP. Just goes to show how important it is to check the dog over immediately after every outing. Far to many people stick it back in the kennel without even a second glance. I hope she makes a great recovery, and that's nice neat job on the repair. dave Thats something CP always does and so do i for that matter, i've been out lamping with CP on many occasions on our return, one of us always washes the dogs feet and checks them over while the other one gets the beers
  6. Thats a bast*rd mate, hope it heels ok
  7. I'm getting the striker, red filter and 10amp lithium battery pack for £210. I'm getting old and trudging around with the 14amp is taking it's toll lol so i decided to bite the bullet and buy a lithium.

  10. Please don't think i'm knocking the dog in anyway,My original whippet was bred by mike brown and was a fantastic working dog with the heart of a lion. What makes me a little suspicious on the black dog being a true ped is the head on the dog and the length of back and the whole shape of him. My bitch was also a very strong whippet and i had my suspicians about her too, she stood at 21" and ran at 35lb. I've seen alot of Mikes dogs and tbh it does depend on the which dogs there out of to what type of whippet pup your going to get as IMO they don't throw to type. I had a blue bitch bred by
  11. I like the look of your fawn whippet mate, Nice stamp of a bitch she is very simular to my bitch Vixen. Pity you live so far from me, you would be welcome for a day out ferreting with us
  12. Fine looking pup mate, Pauls bitch was a real gem all day. She followed Vixen round for the first couple of hours then started to do her own thing, She was real steady and a joy to be out with and watch work. She's going to make a good bitch. Were out later in the week for a couple of hours again.
  13. Vixen is my bitches name you prick. it's remarks like yours that give this site a bad name mate. Don't think i'll bother posting anymore if i get remarks from prats like you
  14. wow what a dog ,never seen one built so strong ,i like him hows he bred?atbBB I'm very doubtful that the black dog is a genuine kc whippet. Look at it's head and loin very suspicous looking to me. Looks to have bull blood in it to me
  15. Vixen is 20" to the shoulder and she's 30-31lb The blue whippet featured in the photo's is just a pup, she's 18 1/2" and around 23-24lbs at 6 months. (she belongs to a friend of mine)
  16. I like this one i took, she's waiting for one to bolt....
  17. No worries mate, we ended the day with 21 a little disapointing really.
  18. A little action sequence for you of vixen making a nice catch just before it hit the net, she made 5 of these today. I only caught 1 as it started to rain!!!
  19. photo of dam with pups, original link didn't work
  20. hahaha plus the added bonus of a tasty and nutritious mouthful of brain and blood!! Everyones a winner!! lmao Yes the taste does get a bit of getting used to. It's something i've always done, if you put the top of the birds head in your mouth the blood etc usually goes out the birds mouth away from yours lol. I must admit i've had some funny looks from folk when they have seen me do it, but as long as the birds despatched humanely thats all that matters.
  21. It's good of you for stopping and putting the poor beast out of it's misery, if you hadn't and it made it to the hedge bottom god knows how long it would have suffered.
  22. I just bite there heads, works everytime
  23. Just got back from Charpolski's a day late as i was in bed allday yesterday with food poisoning!!! Many thanks to Dogs and natives for letting us run on his land, and thanks also to LDR for being a sporting gent. To say i was feeling rough is an understatement, Charpolski and i went out for our lunch and it must have been a dodgy steak as i was starting to throw up halfway though the heat. Anyway i soldiered on and vixen started to pick a few more up, at one point we were 4 behind but Vixen made a couple of good catches to bring it back to just 2 behind. By this time i was feeling like shi
