Chloramphenical eye drops have a broad spectrum of activity in bacterial infections and are recently made available without prescription from a pharmacist but as prevoius posts beware that there isn't more than a little conjuntivitis going on.

As above would just add remember to ajust over time to alow for increase / decrease in exercise, age, illness etc. You'll soon get your eye in and know at a glance if he's right.

I thought tumblers, or at least the modern lurcher version, was all about running style rather than breeding? something about stride length and a shorter stride giving greater agility + improved pick up.

If they really have a 99 year lease then the land is theres untill the end of the lease but do they pay a rent on top. If so then that could be a problem as has been said get advice.

Good pics. I've found a couple of deer washed up om the beach opposite Lundy isle in Devon and always wondered if they were swimming across from there to the mainland and not making it you've maybe answered my question.

Theres no reason why the north american species would not be able to survive in britain as the are native to canada so the cold wouldn't be a problem. not sure how they would impact on Britain but would certainly be a suprise in the lamp.

Breeding will play a part as a big deerhound cross will mature physically a lot slower than a little whippet type.

As a minority myself, i think hare coursing should be legal, as are most on this forum it comes as a suprise that some members are so anti other minority groups. Perhaps it would be better to promote minority rights as part of a move towards sane thinking rather than tar brushing! Then perhaps we wouldn't be post hunting ban.

I don't give milk regulary but if there is some spare i'll do so, usually 50-50 with water, and have never had any problems. I'm a great beliver in a varied diet to give the greatest availability of nutrients in a variety of forms.

You need to find the cause before you can find the cure. If it is an object in her nasel passage it may still be there and so causing further infection or irritation.

Most modern lurchers would have been thought of as greyhounds in days gone by as greyhounds were a mixed bag, including rough and smooth coated, large and small in size one of these crossed with a collie might well lock like a 3/4 collie 1/4 greyhound and so pass by the uninformed layman as a collie. The early greyhound type were most likely used for wolf (stock protection) long before fox but fox might be a good training aid in the development of a wolf dog.

Fruit and veg are part of a good balenced diet. I feed cooked as has been stated it easier to digest as the celluose cell walls are indegestable in the raw state so reducing the available nutrients and carbs as the cell contents are locked away inside. Mincing will break many cell stuctures but leave more untouched. little note about cancer cells thriving on sugers- all cells thrive one sugers as they are the most easily used food source but sugers will not promote cancer cell growth. Dieting is perhaps not the best answer as it would seem that most put the weight back on once the diet has ended. What is needed is a life style change to include diet and exercise and a better understanding of our own health, to enable people to take more responsibility for their bodies. As i said there are often underlying reasons for negative behaviors such as over eating and smoking and the subject needs to be viewed in this wider context. As for friday night in A+E well smoking related disease accounts for many more hospital admissions than friday and saturday fights by a long way! 15-
