    there's a black rabbit knocking about up one of my farms,and he runs as if he got a rocket up his arse.....lol and i can't seem to catch him......i would have thought i would bolt him one day while ferreting but i have'nt yet..... bolted a few ginger ones.... so i dont know where he hides.....ha,ha, my day will come. all the best, jay.

    its like that where i live mate, if i dont venture out the only birds i get to see around my area are jackdaws, starlings and seagulls.........

    what are your opinions and thoughts on whether a dog or bitch works best for you ? reason i'm asking, is - i was talking to a chap the other day and we got on the subject of working dogs and bitches, and he said he prefers to work dogs because he feels he's to hard vocally and in temprament to work bitches, and he feels for that reason he does'nt get a good response, and cant get the best out of working bitches. cheers, all the best, jay.

    thats whats wrong with this internet lark mate, imo it all gets too technical, whether its lurchers, ferrets, whatever, hows it bred, what colour, how many, blah blah blah, what happened to just gawn oot with your ferrets and dogs and just enjoying it i'll go with that....... atb jay,

    if there aint that much game around in the area where they are touting, dont be to worried about them......,because surely they wont hang around your area to long if the stuff aint there, there aint many farms or permissions you go on today where there are'nt a few people already going on there anyway....... jay.

    i use the hot air method (heat gun), this has worked fine for me, as long as you don't overdo it in one area,you need to keep the hot air gun moving on the area you are straightening,otherwise you could burn the bark on the shaft, when you think the area is warmed through enough,just flex it over your knee, and keep repeating this until your happy that it is straight enough........good luck. all the best, jay.
