Used to know a really nice guy called jeff in Hong Kong,originally from lancashire or thereabouts,he was fishing on a beach in Oz,snagged something,put loads of compression on his rod to pull his end tackle out of the unseen snag,he now has one eye.

Knocks spots off the old barnett wildcats of youth,have a look at tenpoints range,i just got petersens 2016 archery equipment mag and theres several pages of new crossbows,some of them are reverse limb compound crossbows,they look like something from the predator movie.I have seen him sussex,instinct shooting,he is accurate as a lazer.

His trajectory will have been like a rainbow,i would rather have seen a three shot group,he didnt mention the weight of the bolt.Theres a couple of guys on youtube doing similar with compound bows,now THATS real skill,fairly tight groups as well.

I was in cobham a few years ago fishing on the mole,two well-heeled very well dressed ladies were loitering in a hedgerow,everyone in cobham is f***ing loaded especially at the stoke D'Abernon end so once they had vacated the hedge i moseyed over to see what they had been up to,there was a 35mm film container wrapped in clear plastic in a small brick enclave,inside the film container was a load of slips of paper containing peoples names and messages,a geo-cache.

I remember maybe 15-20 years back when Wels fishing packages were first advertised,the ebro was an unknown back then,the oackage was to kazakhstan to fish for truly wild huge cats.

First place I ever fished was Canbury Gardens in Kingston by the outflow from the power station. I don't think was anything but snotties and bleak there in those days. Some very nice fish in kingston,the thames is a great river,theres just been a guy in shepperton caught a 7 lb 10oz chub in his local stretch,i live a short walk from the banks and am always throwing micro-lures in as the water is thick with pike and perch,theres a fishing guide takes clients out onto the kingston/hampton stretches for predatory fish.

I love working alone,if something fucks up i always know who to blame,worked with a small handfull of really good lads in the past but they are a rarity.
