Thailand is a beautiful place for a honeymoon, but if I was flying that far I might want to consider langkawiWhich has some incredible islands,or boracay or Palawan in Philippines with world class white powder sand beaches,Florida is the whole package though loads of things geared towards tourism and cheap shopping.

Just bought a couple of mags, one of the readers pics pages, decent results, there's also a load of full page ads for leg hold traps and supplies, reminds me of the old CTF catalogues with all of the netting supplies I used to get through the post pre Internet era.

Out of likes but that's fantastic, what a beautiful feature for the garden, can you not get one of those powerful magnets people use to recover things from rivers, drop it to the bottom see if there's anything down there?

That just shows you the difference, canals freeze up over there so they skate to work. We get a decent frost and people act like the world is ending!!! I really want to go to canada fishing for sturgeon but with a growing family and looking at the cost of it I cant see it happenin. People are geared up for the cold here mate,we had a really heavy snowstorm on Tuesday,Wednesday morning the highways were cleared, and private citizens were clearing side roads with their dodge Rams with snowploughs mounted on the front,or big snow blowing machines,we passed a few snow drifts earlier that must be

You know how to enjoy yourself mate lolIndeed,my missus doesn't think so though,we just spent an hour and a half in an archery shop,I tried a few bows, she was standing in the background rolling her eyes deep sigh'ing, how can anyone not enjoy time well spent in an archery shop?

Thames as its now known, loads of Ali G types rantin g on about living in da ghetto's yet staying at home with mum and dad in 500k houses.

We used to almost fight as kids to see who could mop up the fat from the frying pan with a chunk of bread,I don't think I could stomach it nowadays though.

If your born after 1988 in Florida you need a boat licence for any hire or personal craft with more than a 10 hp engine, but there's loads of guides who will take you out day or night for an alligator hunt, enjoy the honeymoon.

Stottie cake Sarnie filled with beans, sausage, bacon, fried eggs, fried mushrooms, and fried onions with a cup of tea strong enough to stand a spoon up in,just right for a freezing cold winters morning.

We had 2 real eccentrics lived in the village when I was a kid,one was wild who lived alone in a rundown shack (renovated a few years ago and on the market for 200k)near cox green,he had no electricity whatsoever,he lived with a Labrador and made cash from collecting golf balls and selling the decent ones for 10 pence a ball,he was put into a care home and died when he inserted a screwdriver into a plug socket and electrocuted himself. The other was Charlie Darby,he lived in a wooden shack under the A19 bridge with a pack of mongrels,no running water or electricity, loads of rumours about him

Pike and walleye mate, won't be till next week however as we are going to have a guided tour of an underground 4 storey 300 room cold War nuclear bunker over the weekend,it was built to withstand a 5 megaton blast from 2 kilometres, looks an interesting place.

Always wears black and red,it's Amos,I once saw him in Kingston when it was raining with his top hat and a snorkel and mask and divers fins slung over his shoulder,he always chats to himself, the worlds a better place for people with character.

I was here last November Tilly, massive amounts of geese on the move then, the sky always filled with skeins.Havent fished yet mate, still got a few weeks to go so plenty of time.Just spent the morning skating, did about 5 kilometres down the ice and came across a bloke who had been knocked out in a fall, ice ambulance stretchered him off down the canal. My missus told me people use the canal during the winter to commute into work,I saw a guy riding a quad and some woman with an ice pushchair contraption skating past with her baby in it.

that sounds like my childhood in the 70,s,i also remember taking pot shots at everything that moved in the garden with a Webley 9mm garden gun Our postman in the 80's had a walking stick gun in 9mm,he is probably long dead now,but our childhood always seemed to be filled with characters, happy days.

In the 70's I got my first air rifle,a Diana .177,used to walk around the streets knocking sparrows and starlings off people's tv Aerials and out of trees for ferret food, apart from the odd "mind the windows" no one batted an eyelid, nowadays we would all be ASBO'd,I graduated to a .22 rim fire, rounds were easy enough to get even without a licence, and used it to decimate the local seagull population,it would be funny to wind the clock back even for one single day.

Need Advice On Good Lures/spinners
mackem replied to buster gonads's topic in Fresh & Salt Water Fishing
I was in a shop earlier, there is a tax free sale,I raided the bargain bins,I ended up getting 30 different plugs and lures, got some jelly pike for a quid each. -
Took this pic this afternoon, walking along a river looking for a decent spot to fish, the rivers frozen but there's one open stretch packed with wildfowl, there was a guy there laying out lines of grain,I had a chat with him,he shoots duck and geese locally, but said he always gives them a hand when the weather is hard,he fed them today with 50kg of grain.

Early 80's I once got around 120 assorted salmon and sea trout over a weekend from a river,I was a kid netted them with a net I found stashed in some brambles when I was doing my paper round, used to get loads of salmon in late summer, once got a 28 lb'er.Bought a .410 single with some of my fish money,I was 15 and didn't have a licence, used to get roosting pheasants from a local wildfowl refuge, also got a few grouse with it in wear dale and used to shoot mallards on the rivers, got into all sorts of scrapes back then, wonder we all survived.

Yes,but don't know what sort,OTC will be able to tell you exactly.

To be fair refs are fighting back, there's a couple of cases of South African refs shooting dead team players on the pitch over disagreements, which begs the question just how rough are their games that they take a 9 Millie onto the pitch with them.

there's a decent sized stag lives near me,if you ever saw one of the When animals attack programs and watched the guy climbing a tree to get away from a red stag then you have seen the creature,it's nickname is the beast of bushy as its part of the bushy park herd, loads of pics floating around of it attacking people and it's got a dislike of dogs,I couldn't imagine it being pulled over as its got power and aggression.

The average 9-5 joe spends just over 2000 hours a year at work, that's a helluva lot of time to spend doing something most folks don't enjoy.
