  1. A submariner being interviewed on Sky news just said if the vessel is on the ocean floor it’s less than 1% chance of rescue,if it’s bobbing around somewhere on the surface it’s 90% chance.The sub can’t be opened from the inside,the hatch is bolted from the outside.
  2. Space flight would be incredible,a billion would buy every experience you could imagine.

  4. At that depth the sub imploding will have been like stamping on an empty aluminium coke can,hopefully they didnt have time to worry about it.
  5. I am quite adaptable,been in genuine wilderness many times,but I also like people watching,I am sure NYC-LA overland will be interesting,I could have just flown direct but feel like a walkabout.
  6. I lived in a caravan in Docklands for a year and a half,loved it to be honest,and lived in Hong Kong which was as densely packed as sardines in a tin,I quite like cities and people.

  12. Went for a stroll in the park with er indoors earlier,found a stag beetle.

  15. No,it’s ten minutes from home,kempton steam museum,the engines are similar to the Titanic’s so they have a small display in there.
  16. How deep underground?Would have liked to have a chance to do that.
  17. Two identical engines in there,used to pump London water between 1929 and 1980,enthusiasts maintain it now,open a couple of weekends a year,the engines have featured in a few Titanic documentaries.
  18. Had a good morning and a very interesting tour,the engines are very similar to those in the titanic,I was surprised at how quiet they actually run.Met a guy who came from Australia to see it,I travelled ten minutes.

    Don’t take the lords name in vain Sharkey you fabulist,go back,check my posts before misquoting,I have always said the odd escaped cat isn’t beyond the realms of credulity,but breeding populations and established populations is fantasy akin to the Easter bunny and the tooth fairy…..However IF you can find where I have said there have never been the odd escapee I will apologise.
