  1. Given the price of those things they should put all others that came before to shame! I like the idea of hunting with it Gary, About time someone put one of these things into the field rather than posing at the peg and string line Tony
  2. Wish I had known about it. Mind you the amount of brass I've just laid out and the amount I've gotta find before the end of the month, it would only have depressed me! Tony
  3. As above, a lil squeek or a click of the tongue usually makes em sit up. I have a "Squeaker" but I don't use it for rabbit's; I use it when I see a fox on my perms, just to see how close I can get them to come to me. Tony
  4. Hi Lee, I would reccomend that you take a look at the Umarex Boys Club enough on there to make you drool! Tony
  5. Nah! I've helped people on here and others have helped me greatly I am not religious, but the term "Do unto others, as you would have them do to you" springs to mind. There are great people on here and amazing life long friends to be made.(although there are the odd idiots as well). But genuinely there are really good folk here I've not been as active as I once was, but thats down to 'personal circumstance' I hope to be as active again soon once my circumstances improve again The list of helpful and good folk here is endless you just gotta learn who to trust Take a look at my fr
  6. Maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way, but I personally think that some people are here to try to prove that the decent, airpistol/rifle users are as thick as a piece of dung?
  7. Cool, I'll take a pair Unfortunately I doubt it, the newbies that I have tried to help, including the ones that I sent Rifles to FOC seemed to disapear overnight! Still I have a couple of items left that I no longer have use for; One will be going to a friend when he decides to buy a rifle! The other will be going to his son, when he shows me that he is more than sensible AND capable of looking after a pistol! (he's into paper punching). Tony
  8. This kind of help deserves the highest praise I have helped out other members of the forum by sending out scope's Rifles etc and have had no thanks what so ever Nice one scorpion1411 and Thanks for the recognition of a fellow member Nade Tony Well done and thanks for recognising
  9. Well Feck me!!! Mike's put a post up that I agree with PMSL'ing
  10. People like him deserve a custodial. Sorry but if your mate was knowingly breaking the law then he deserves a full K'ing custodial sentance. Armed Trespass; as mentioned is one of the more serious gun crimes; always has and always will be Even if he walks with away with anything less, it's on his record for life. If he works in any kind of position of trust he's not going o keep a job for long as it's also a "Notifiable Offence", for example you must inform your employer of the offence regardless of it being a conviction/caution. Also as mentioned, he gives he rest of us a bad name, th
  11. I have only dropped one absolutely dead in it's tracks, only the forward momentum let it carry on a couple of inches more, they do usually flap about a bit, some like bunnies, just dont seem to know that they are dead! even with what seems to be a perfect shot. Here is my best shot (with a rifle) on a Rat. Dropped like a good un. It was running towards me on the wall of a pig pen above the feeders. This shows the rodent in situ: Like I said, most will run flap and perform gymnastic feats, but this is usually down to the signals from the brain that run up and down t
  12. I would leave the dead ones where they fell From what I and a few others have seen, fresh blood from a fallen rat is one of the very best baits going I've seen em sniff the bait and totally ignore it, the smell of fresh blood from a dead buddy just overpoweres them and they have just GOT TO lick it up! Tony
  13. Didn't know they made another version. The version I used was supposed to be recoil free. The only problem with it was the incredible inaccuracy of it! Try this on for size http://www.gunspares.co.uk/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=24549&cat=Typhoon+%281987-92%29 Tony
  14. Rats are ery weary of things that just suddenly appear around them and their runs! They will actively find another route until they become 'used' to the object. This may take a few days, but once they get used to it, they will eventually start snaffling it Tony Oh yeh, the other key to shooting them, is "Not to crap yourself" when they charge towards you or climb over you
  15. As above, liquidised food, so they cant make off with it. Tony
  16. Going cheap you say? On the Sandringham estate? Were they used by the people disposing of bodies? or the person that found it?
  17. The Sony camera I got for Lesley years back had a great night shooting facility, unfortunately it's so heavy it's no good for attaching to a scope (unless static). Other problem was it's DVT rather than HD or SD card. Shame really as the stills are almost as fantastic as the video! Tony
  18. I had planned on going ratting with Dillan tomorrow, we always have great fun doing so Unfortunately something has cropped up, so gotta wait til next week now. I remember my 1st ratting trips WOW, scared the sh!te outta me ut boy was it great. Nice selection of rodents you have there Good work Tony
  19. I'e not got a strong enough signal, this weathers playing havoc with my Inet connection, so will view the vid soon. If its anywhere near half as good as Si's usual quality, it'll be fantastic
  20. Takes a lot to upset old RA! Trust me I've tried Nah, but he is game for a laugh as are the rest of us most of the time that is
