  1. Tell him, they went crackers and they jumped in front of the muzzle just as you let the pellet loose You couldnt stop them, then the other one did the same to be reuinted with its buddy  Phanton
  2. Well that will teach you to get yourself posted to Kroutland then won't it Still enjoying it over there Si or you missing the action over here? Take care buddy Phantom
  3. Hi Darren, As Aaron said, your back garden is fine as long as the pellet stays within your boundary As others have said, ask around. I have two permissions, one of which is a local parish cemetery, thats suffered severe damage due to bunnies. The paddock next door to the cemetery, I just happened to be walking over a foot bridge over the main road, when I saw a guy working in the paddock. I walked round the other side to the gate, called him over, chatted about his horses, then the rabbits and the as he called em "Fooking Big Black B@sterd Birds" (Corvids to the rest of us) that keep
  4. Six Weeks Hell they must have a rocket up there butts or someone taught one of em how to read Phantom
  5. Thanks guy's, I Still cant believe it Apart from the 1st shot at the bull, every one at paper was in a clump no bigger than a 5p coin, but eyery shot at live quarry missed by half a bunny hair. You watch they'll all be out in force tonight, wanting the new fashion in Bunny Fashion Hair do's and I'm stuck in for the night And to add insult to injury, Lesley pointed out a HUGE FAT WOODIE sat on the fence in the back garden this morning. It was sat there for ages, nice and relaxed. And she wouldn't let me near my rifle to pump it up until Mr FatBreASted Woodie flew off.B h!
  6. Umm.... I'd be up for a sesh with a metal detector as well I've had mine about 5 years and only used it to check for a piece of steel shrapnel in my leg after I got a piece from a bike frame that I was cutting with the angle grinder Phantom Oh my metal detector was a gift from the old cow aka mother, I live in the ancient fort of Petuaria, theres Roman stuff everywhere round here. Oh and a mausoleum not far down the road, Spooooky place to visit, as its in the middle of the woods, Only seen it in passing, but heard lots of stories
  7. Nah, I mean putting your crosshairs on em and missing every single fecking shot, like they've got an invisible forcefield round em keeping em safe. but yeah, that would feck me off as well Phantom
  8. So here I sit, broken hearted, spent my penny and only farted, Next time I will take a chance, save my penny and cr@p my pants. The top line says everything about the evening I have just spent shooting. I was so looking forward to getting out and dropping some cotton tails as they enjoyed the evening munching their last meal. Being stuck in the house the last couple of days sick was beggining to give me cabin fever so I just had to get out. Bang on 18:00 I was out the door, heading off for an evening's bunny boppin' 15 minutes later I was in the paddock looking up to the power
  9. Welcome aboard buddy Nice to get your 1st kill with on your 1st trip out Phantom
  10. There's a Chav Ghost in there you know I can see its glowing trainers :11: Interesting sight, wouldn't mind a wander around there myself I'd love to see a living Jay Such gorgeous birds! Phantom
  11. Time for this lad to enter the comp me thinks Should turn the tables on a few of the leaders Were you using a Punt gun? Thats a hell of a bag Phantom
  12. They'd be awsome to drop into our eldest lads bed I once made a plastercine rat when he was about 14, put luminous eyes on it and fishing line for whiskers. If there are two things Jason hates with a vengence, its Rats and Pot Dolls! You should have heard him squeal that night, the rest of the street did :11: Evil aint I  Phantom
  13. What was your primary gun? Springer or PCP? What is the Scope? Some scopes are not designed to take the recoil of a springer and it will knock the zero out quite considerably. Phantom
  14. As Davy said AAF's I use the S200 in .22 and the fields are very accurate (Don't know any gun that don't like AAF's .177 or .22) I have also used the FX's (dunno if they are available in .177 though) again superb accuracy and only a couple of clicks difference is scope elevation when swapping between the brands) Get a tin of AAF's and try them, I doubt you'll be dissapointed Phantom Nice gun BTW
  15. Nice one, well done Phantom
  16. Welcome back Mark Look forward to your input Phantom
  17. Nice one Shay Great to see that you get to finally put some lead in the head, I know you've been looking forward to it for a good while Think the smallest one I've put down was about five or six inches from nose to tail. That was in the cemetery, where I am going to this evening, assuming the wet stuff stays off. Look at it this way, a small brain is a better test of your Marksmanship skills Look forward to seeing much more of your adventures soon. Take care Phantom
  18. You know if it had been Davy, Stealthy, Marksman, Festa, Zini, SweenyTodd or RiffRaff asking " " I would have just had to answer " T H E S H O O T E R " :11: How did you get on Richard? Phantom
  19. Nice going Gary Wish I could get out and get that kinda bag I'm not well ATM Hoping against hope that will be okay for tomorrow however weather says its gonna be fecking windy and I hate the wind when shooting Loved your write up Gary Phantom
  20. Thanks FV I was hoping to be out yesterday and today for much more of the same! Alas it was not to be as I feel so fecking crap My sinuses are blocked completely I can't smell a thing, my throat feels like someone skewered a hedghog and is using it 'BogBrush Fashion' up and down my throat. Can't taste anything, so my vindaloo bunny is in the fridge until I can taste again. The worst thing though is that fresh ground coffee tastes like muddy water and I can't live without my coffee Spent most of yesterday asleep I dunno if this is a cold or something else, but I wish it would feck
  21. I get mine at £8.50 for a tin of AAF's in .22 No minimum order and thats about 50% cheaper than the gunshops in the area Luckily I have a friend who is an RFD and he buy's them in bulk for the Club he is the secretary of and the members and I get them at a heavily discounted price. If I had the money to buy them in half a pack though, that would be a darn good price indeed Phantom
  22. Very Cool Davy Thanks for taking the time out to do that for us. Phantom Quick question! After the 1st shot, you declared, "Thats one dead bunny" as you skillfully despatched both target and pin The second one only got the target and you needed another shot to take out the pin, so was that a wounded bunny and how far did it get before you finished him off :11:
  23. Well done lads And well said Davy, Lads with Brains as well as guns Phantom
