  2. Hi PH, Pellet was just over an inch under the base of the skull. Phantom
  3. Hey Bill, Thanks for the Pix, good shots they are too I see what you mean about the field dropping and the view from the top would be ideal with a little natural camo Corker of a place to snipe from Phantom
  4. Hey guy's, I've just got my mits on another tub of FX 16 Grainers in .22 Did a bit of Zeroing other day but due to the wind it was very hard going getting a group. I know these are good pellets and my baby does like them. I've been playing with Chairgun Pro but that does not have them listed in .22 Cal so I have to update the database with the relevant data. What I need to complete the data set is the Ballistic Coeficiant of these pellets. I've searched the web, but can't find it Any Ideas? Phantom
  5. Great going Buddy Looking at the pic of the 1st one your sights were defo on or extremely close to being on zero Glad I'm not the only one who's had one knicked this week. 14. Just a quickie that I had forgotten about from the other evening. Found this one in the Cemy being cocky chewing some flowers from someone's grave. Couldn't get a perfect head shot so went for another Spinal shot from behind. Some may ask: Why didn't you move? Becaus the twigs under my feet would have made him bolt. Why didn't you wait? I did for almost 10 minutes and he just kept on munching the flowers he'd knocked over. . I was confident of a clean kill so I dished out an AAF as his punishment for the Crime of Desecrating a Grave. He went down without a twitch He
  15. Hey Stealthy, Remember last year I was gonna preserve that bunny skull? I was in the shed earlier looking for some acetate (Red for a new filter) and found this on the shelf! Yawning: Completely forgotten about this project. I cant find the couple of missing teeth or the back of the skull that kept the brain in situ Its the one that got it in the heart / lungs if I remember I'd missjudged the distance and pellet dropped and this was a lucky shot. Or it was one that I got in the spinal column. Phantom
  16. Thanks Alex, Its not the 1st time I've had one nicked by ole Chucky. 1st one I posted a thread about it, cheeky lil sod was sat hiding and as soon as the young bunny went over he ran out of the orchard into the cemetery and snatched it from right in front of me I wouldn't have minded, if he had stayed long enough for me to get my camera out the pocket. That would have been a superb Wildlife Pic of the Year entry Phantom
  17. Yeah I did want to mention that, but I just didn't want to sound tooooooo bitchy Phantom
  18. If you fancy changing now and again, Then Ratting is ideally suited to a red dot zero mag, not the laser ones (or even one up to 2 mag) would be good for you. Then when you need it your own scope for bunny bashing. Phantom
  19. It is a nice piece of show kit But would he dare take it hunting? Phantom
  20. 4 mins and 4 seconds 0of those chords! Both the pellets clearly moved Lets see him try it with a penny on its edge Phantom
  21. Hi Shay, Even the best recoilless sleds transfere some recoil And as for what I think? I think someone need to learn a few more f g chords on the guitar Dont get me wrong, I love Bad to the Bone but after sitting through 1 minute and thirty seconds of the opening chords I wanna f g scream Phantom
  22. Thanks guy's Hi Aaron, I tried the red QS Wrapper, Stronger than the filter Sadly. Tried the yellow one and it does the job well, but the cotton tails don't like it Also makes the Cemetery look a bit freaky I've just finished grinding down a very thin red filter from a roadside warning light (my own not a knicked one) and I will be putting that through its paces tomorrow (can't be assed to go out tonight as I'm tired). With it being so thin it should let more light through I can light up the entire Paddock from one end to the other (and then some) without a filter. Phantom
  23. Hi there Si I missed yah vid How big is it? perhaps you could email it to me? If not can you stick it up on tinypic.com and send me a link for it please? I'm goint to wait until the weather is better and then do the same with both the S200 from the Pod and the 19 from standing. I, as you know can put in some extremely good tight groups, but at a hundred yards, I reckon they'll be opening up. You say that perhaps 1 out of 10 would result in a clean kill? I personally reckon the odds are much higher than that 1 clean kill out of 10 at 100 yards would be very good going
  24. Magpies? I think they are super dooper birds Especially when they have a chunk of lead inside the brain Seriously, if they were not egg thieves and chick killers, I wouldn't shoot them but because they are, its open season Soooo Go get em:boxing: Mind you saying that I can't anyway cuz as soon as they see the gun, there GONE Phantom Why do all my quick replies wind up with a shed load of HTML tags in them?
  25. Thanks Shay, I used a red filter from an old black and white photograghic enlarger. Its a bit strong so, I'm looking for some red acetate or similar to do the same with. Something that will let the light out a little bit further. Phantom
