  2. Well....... Actually...... No, they come from Hull, so no thinking back, there are very few companies in Hull that are actually helpfull. Most of the people from Hull actually spell it and pronounce it 'Ull' No offence to the few decent people from Hull, RiffRaff, HullHunter etc..... :11: Phantom
  3. After typing out my write up in notepad and uploading the photo's my computer hung and me being a silly tw@t who didn't save the text lost the whole fecking lot I've decided that my 3-9x40 mildot is crap for low light even with my Ultrafire. So I'm gonna put the 3-9x56 with the 30/30 ret back on So after enduring sh!te weather including two Hail Storms (one heavy) drizzle and heavy downpours as well as freezing wind, in my makeshift basha and bivvi bag, I got a nice shot at a bunny at about 40 yards as the light was failing. He sat there for 15 minutes and wouldn't give me a full

  6. I'm sure if you find a date stamp on it somewhere, it will match your date of birth Perhaps it may even be younger than you Stealthy Phantom
  7. I'm biased, but trying not to be S200 Guess trying not to be didn't work Failing that, Zini swears by the R10 Phantom
  8. Part number UL136 I think, give them a ring they are really good service wise and very helpful Phantom

  10. You could always try ringing Hull Cartridge Co http://www.hullcartridge.co.uk/index.cfm After all they are the importers just a thought. Phantom
  11. This one ? http://www.deben.com/lights_lamping/tracer_gunlights/stinger.php Its Identical to the one I and Rob (Spike25blue) use only three times more expensive Phantom
  12. Hi Sib, Yep, thats the one Takes a couple of minutes to set up and works well Phantom
  13. Hi Aaron, Your asking a lot there buddy I use an Ultrafire Cree LED based torch on my rifle. Cost me less than £20. But it uses the CR123 Batts, that are expensive to buy unless you use the rechargable ones. Its a great little unit really. Tried the Tesco one but was sooo disapointed with it in the field. I am planning on getting a 6 volt motorcycle battery and hooking that up to the cree torch in the future along with a red led bulb unit Phantom
  14. Well, at least Michael is open about it and not being a sneaky C T I however have way to many forums to keep track of at the moment. Maybe I'll join at a later date. Good luck Phantom
  15. As long as you have the correct adapter for the gun you wish to fill, I see no reason for it not to work. I am assuming that there are no obvious signs of damage on the hose of course Phantom
  16. My hides are pretty basic, nothing flash like those. I use a couple of DPM Army surplus poncho's. Usually sniping over warrens I stick a couple of sticks in the ground and lay the poncho out on the ground with the edge over the sticks so its about 18-20 inches high. Then stick a bit of scrim over the scope and legs of the pod and thats worked very very well for me in the cemetery. In the paddock permission, I have used the same set up with the addition of another poncho to prevent the birds from seeing me. I have now obtained a surplus Gortex bivvi bag that will be used to keep me w
  17. Thats similar to the fields i pass on the way home from work. They are in close proximity to a road, so you probably arnt allowed to shoot so close to a public highway. The bunnys must know this, hense its their party area! Yeah they must do:thumbs: Davy and Stealthy tried to eg me on to bop a few, but as the local Police station is only a few hundred yards down the road, I figured I dare not use their building as a safe backstop :11: Phantom
  18. Pass. I ain't got a clue so I can't vote. Phantom
  19. Forgot to say That 1st bunny looks like it was very pleased to be shot in the noggin I'm sure it has a smile on it Phantom
  20. Superb shooting Guy's Lovely write up too Davy. Had a giggle with the video of the Squizzer, he didn't hang around too long did he :11: I wish I had a decent permission like you have. Both of mine total about 3.75 Acre's, not a lot, but its a start aint it I notice the flowers were out down there, ours are just starting to bud up here, so I'm hoping the trees will be in full leaf soon and give me that all important cover Again, Well done to you all on a buzy worthwile weekend. Phantom
  21. No matter what time I walk up to my permissions, I see bunnies on the embankment of the overpass road. But when I get to my permission, it seems like they only like to play early morning or late night! Little B s I really need to get the permission next to that embankment Phantom
  22. Brilliant Is Patience your wife? it was the voices that made me say it :11: Phantom
  23. Forget the painted stock give it a rub down until bare wood then use some wood stain and then a few coats of linseed oil. Far better than paint IMHO If you use your rifle for hunting, forget about the chrome paint as well. I have used a matt black and gloss black spray paint, but I would have much rather had it re-blued or Blacked again. There are products that you can buy to do it properly, but I cant comment on them because I've not used them. If you must paint the metalwork, go for a matt black spray Phantom
