  1. Mine just loves AA Field Diablo's 5.51 Clean it with a soft cloth on the outside then rub an oiled cloth over the metalwork and thats about it for maintainance. If you want technical help, then Buster123 and I will advise you to visit http://ukchineseairgunforum.myfreeforum.org/ I've not cleaned the barrel as of yet as there has not been sufficiant need to do so. If its out in the rain dry it well, then proceed as normal with thwe oild cloth Phantom

  4. Last night those crossed pellets were making me very cross having to rezero for new pellets in wind, not a single pellet on pellet! and a 4 inch group to start with but got it down to a one inch as the barrel became accustomed tot he new lead and the wind lowered. (40 odd shots and only one at live quarry) Putting up another thread later! Phantom
  5. Managed to get out to the Paddock the other evening for a couple of hours Just me, my pellets and my Baby, dressed in her Kassner crown and her little Ultrafire with the home made red filter. Took a poncho to lay on and my portable back stop which I placed exactly 30 meters (ohhh look at me going all metric!) from the breech. Looked around and boy did it look different! The Caravan is just a pile of ashes and the metal chassis, the good horse box has gone and so has the valuable stuff. The second Box that was used as a feeder was still pretty much as it was yesterday but the hay insid
  6. I can't ist soooo Politically Incorrect (I think thats the term they use for this type of jokes these day's) Phantom Maybe I'll email it to you

  8. I have many 'best ever shots' well guess they would be most memorable shots really Some for the skill required to take them; some for the luck and sadly 2 shots that went wrong. One of the 'lucky' ones was when I got a long range bunny at 45 paces. Well I say lucky, it would have been a brilliant skill shot right between the eyes But the bloody thing yawned as I squeezed off the round and it got the pellet in the back of the throat, dead centre The pellet severed its spinal column, the bunny just seemed to lift its front paws off the grass and roll over backwards heres the link
  9. Fingers Crossed for yah, Might even cross some pellets now there's a thought for some more fancy trick shots Phantom
  10. Took me forever to land some (pun intended) and it aint much (about 4 acres in total) but hey when you get it, its worth the wait If you do want to swap for knittling needle's I' cando you a full set and a chrocher hook or two, I can even throw in a ball of 4ply and doubleknit to get you started (just dont tell the wife!!) Phantom Oh and I'll pay postage on both gun and knitting gear :11:

  14. When I last chronographed my 19 it was running at 545.3 FPS with AAF's (15.9 Grain) And its more than capable of knocking bunnies into the oven out to 35 yards Like this one. As Aaron says, practice till you can consistantly put your pellets into a target no bigger than a .10 pence coin (better still a .20 pence coin) Sorry to keep putting the pic up, but I like it, I'm waiting to have it printed A3 and framed for the wall Phantom
  15. I have a great one about pigeons and collerd doves, but I don't want to bring the board into disrepute and I value my access to it so I'm not going to tell you it. Phantom
  16. Forgot to say, AA realised the possibilities of the rifle in hunting so had the power increased from sub 6ft/lbs to our levels Phantom
  17. Hey there Shay, As Bill mentioned, I love's my Baby The original S200 was not an Air Arms gun (from what I have read about them) they were originally designed as a paper puncher for Olympic Level and above shooters. Hence the accuracy, you've seen what I have done with mine with that clover and nugget pic. I won't get rid of mine Phantom
  18. What have I done now? You didn't see me do it You can't prove it was me either  Seriously, My Beast is the SMK XS Mod19 In my opinion, its as sweet as a nut. I've got a custom silencer on it and I have put some felt pads between the action and the stock to limit the sound of the action through the wood. I've also taken off the fromt and rear sights and stuck an SMK 3-9x40 Scope on it (scope's not much cop in the dark, but great in daylight hours). My 1st kill with the beast was a mouse at just over 10 yards all the many others have been bunnies out to 35 yards
  19. Scuba loves em cooked on the BBQ Phantom
  20. Hi Mr T.P. Was beginning to think you had deserted us all Welcome back and a nice bit of oportunistic Maggie Bashing Phantom
  21. YEP thats the way to do it Same here Me too Such a great feeling to pull of a 'lights out' shot with a springer By which time of course your quarry has legged it to safety  Phantom
  22. Cheers guy's I'm down to my last 50 or so AAF's now and can't get any more for another couple of weeks Got about 40 FX 16grainer's and 45 Bisley Mags. So won't be trying the 10 pellet pile up this week. I have a couple of thousand Milbro Caledonions though, but no chance of getting a 2 pellet smash up with them Phantom
  23. Hi Aaron, Yeah, apparently bunnies don't have the same eye construction of us and they don't have the ability to see in colour, so I thought, I'd use the B&W view I was going to add the following pic for a laugh: This is what the Bunny sees after I squeeze the trigger  Phantom
  24. Hi Si, his gun is the MKIII S200 My pod is almost identical to that, but does not have the sling ring or the two bits stuck up at the top. Phantom
