Same way everyone else does Box it, wrap it, take it to the post office and send it recorded delivery or Special delivery. Make sure its insured, but dont tell them what it is as sometimes they dont actually know the Law and will refuse to send it. Just as a point to note, the Royal Mail are legally obliged to carry airguns However Parcel Force are not Phnatom

WELL MY PUMP CAME TODAY AND LOOK AT THE RESULTS
Phantom replied to venomviper's topic in Airgun Hunting
I missed this thread somehow  Nice going on the deeks bud I need to get myself some woody deeks I battered some of my Dove deeks with a few .38 cal steel balls from my catties the wife nicked the rest of em for garden ornaments I've got a couple of Maggie and a Carrion Crow deek that I shot in the noggin causing it to go into a hell of a spin dance Cant wait to see the live (or should I say dead) results of her field trials Phantom -
Excellent That looks like a hell of an exit wound unless its just the bloodloss? Nice shooting indeed Phantom Oh do you eat them?
-
No....No....NO Poundland bags are far more accurate and better as they have green on them, making better camo so da bunnies don't see em so much. :11: Phantom

Rossy buddy, me thinks you made a little error there bud You can shoot on land unsupervised from the age of 14 if you have permission Its only people under the age of 14 who must be supervised by an appropriate adult who has to be at least 21 Hope thats cleared up that little confusion Phantom

Thoroughly agree with bill there Camo does play an important part in the fact that it breaks up your outline shape. Bunnies only see in monochrome and any straight line, shape or block of colour stands out like a sore thumb. However, even in camo, if you make a sharp move they see multiple small shapes move in unison and become aware of it. I had a Woodie land above me in the hedgerow a couple of days ago, I was in full camo and the woodie dropped a splat just to my right. I turned my head to see what it was that landed next to my arm and the movement had it on its way long befor

Thanks Bill, I'd really like to see a panarama of that area or even an arial or satalite photo of that place. Do you know any of the history of that place? Like was it perhaps a quarry of some sort? I have a theory about it and I'd really like to have a look around if there is no obvious past as to what caused the geoligical features shown in the pix. Phantom

Looks like it was equipment failure after all
Phantom replied to Phantom's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Not tried that yet Bill, Last time I tried to filter one the filter became a Bio Hazzard and COBRA sprung into action. They closed down all the airports in the UK and most of Europe. Mind you the Cover story they are using about some volcano seems to be doing the trick :11: Phantom -

Thanks Gentlemen Jack: I'm very suprised how I went from bull to Sh!te in such a small time, perhaps I had been compensating for it subconciously as I allways fire at a paper bull before each session and maybe the switch of pellets made it just that bit more apparent? It certainly made a serious dent in my confidence I'm glad I had the sense to pack up and go home and not risk a shot at live quarry that day Shay: I'm looking forward to hear how you get on with the Falcon, its a nice looking piece of kit. Carl: Reading other peoples write ups, has helped me learn my huntin -
Bill, Can you get a pic of the middle of the dip for me please? or can you describe it for me? Does it sink further or is there a raised area by any chance comewhere to the middle? Phantom

Good ones there Keep em comming, some of you must have some really 'wet your pants laughing' one liners. Phantom

Hi Bill, I don't really see the point of a 10 shot Magazine that you have to index manually But when I can afford the AA auto index kit, I'll have one When I got this one it had been put back to a single shot job, but the guy who owned it before selling it to my RFD buddy, had the AA 10 shot system installed. Looks like my RFD buddy made the profit on the gun selling that part to someone else I don't mind at all though given the fact that I got a pump etc thrown in and my baby cost me so little Thanks to Rod (my RFD Buddy), I got a really good deal and I'm a very happy Bunny As

After taking the SEVERE Confidance Kicking the other day when I couldn't get a group with the new tub of FX pellets I took the barrel and scope off my baby and cleaned the barrel with babywipes and some fag filters in the hope that this would help tighten my groups up. I also took off the air cylinder as I wanted to give it a very light coat of oil. After the clean up and oil, I noticed that the allen bolt underneath that holds the forestock on was loose!!! If I'd have checked that 1st I would have saved myself some serious work! I believe its this loose bolt that was to blame for

Very impressive shooting Si :clapper: I'm chuffed if I can do that with the PCP I dont think I could achieve a group that tight with the springer. Phantom

Nice one Si Will help quite a few newbies to airgun shooting. Good Man Phantom

Carl My prefered way (and I have only needed to do it three or four times now although I DO, do it to almost every rabbit) is to grab it by the back legs with my left hand; put my right hand on the back of the bunnies head and pull up to the left with my left hand and down to my right with my right hand turning my right hand anticlockwise as I pull away. Doing this you can both hear and feel the spinal column snap. I suppose its the same (or very similar) method ultimately as the "Chinning", but it gives that little extra pull and seperation to the spinal column. Possibly its a bit

Bill, Excellent choice The only thing I dont like about mine is the forestock when it comes to holding it comfortably. It may be just me, but the square edges on the fore stock I find unpleasent to hold, so I do most of my shooting with the S200 off the pod. I am tinkering with the Idea thogh of making a rounded forestock for her or getting some of that putty stuff and making a hand-hold area, but I think that would be just way too ugly! Enjoy the gun when she arrives Phantom

Thanks guy's Si, much appreciated I went out yesterday evening and can I hell get these things to group out of this tub The last tub were superb for grouping and accuracy. It only took a couple of clicks on windage and elevation from the AAF's to get them to virtually pin-point accuracy. Yesterday I had flyers that were leaving the the target and hitting the backstop  Checked the heads and skirts etc, all seemed pretty much fine. I'm wondering if the FX ones I used before were a 5.51 Dia, these are a 5.52? I took a real confidence kicking Came home thinki
