Jay, Either host your images on something like PhotoBucket or use an image editing program to shrink the file to 640x480. If you cant do either email your pic to me and I'll do it and send it back to you to put up or I can put it up for you. Phantom

You thinking of buying it for me bud? Very kind of you Phantom

Shame I'm in the same boat bud Leeds is only a short train ride from here and I fancy getting my mits on a 410 Phantom
-
Me too, but you'll have to come pick me up and drop me off at the end of the day! I'm really very good at multitasking I'm a great supervisor and I can supervise the workers while while at the same time I can do the important practical work of putting the lead in bunnies too Phantom

Excellent news John Whats his name on eBay, if he's good enough to offer that kind of aftersales service on there he deserves my custom Phantom

Well put across bud Phantom

I've got multiple sets of mounts doing nowt Both for 25mm tubes and 30mm tubes, trouble is they are for the 20mm Weaver mounting Not our trusted 11mm mounts. Phantom

Hi Roger The American's seem to love them as they are a good heavyweight pellet with a wide skirt. They are apparently made for what we would term a 'Section 1 FAC' that is an air rifle for which we would need a Fire Arms Certificate over here e.g. Your Air rifle Heavier pellets do tend to work the best in guns with a higher muzzle energy than our limited 12ft/lbs. If you can get them over in your part of the world, then give the Bisley Magnums a go or the Pile Driver pellets. Phantom

Hey John, I'm not totally conviced its the seals When the seals went in my pump, it allowed the air back out of the pump so I couldn't get above 50 bar. A vacume suggests that maybe the inlet valve is stuck closed. Which should be a fairly easy job. PM Foxon on here, (he services pumps) he proved to be a fantastic source of information, as indeed did Sean (the mod one that is) I took their advice and saved my self a fair bit of money All the seals for my pump cost me 79 pence from Wilkinsons Putting them in was not as complicated as I thought it was going to be either.

pellets for long range shooting
Phantom replied to farmerkev09's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Hey Bob You goofed there buddy Lock Time is the time the projectile spends in the barrel before exiting Guess to many last night huh? Lucky bugger I knew the lock time in a gas ram was quicker than a spring and PCP but I didn't know that a springer was quicker than a pcp. Guess thats my Learn for today quota sorted Phantom -
 Don't do things like that Bill, you know I get confused easily Good jokes, Corny jokes, and Real GROANER jokes from you OK? Leg pulling and chain yanking from Davy That way I have an easy time in the world :11: Phantom

No Aaron, Your responsible adult purchased the rifle, having borrowed your money they will repay the loan as part of your inheritance. However your responsible adult decided he/she does not like shooting afterall and have loaned you the rifle and they correctly supervised you with the rifle when on your lawfull permissions until you reached the age of 14 when you were allowed to shoot on those permissions unsupervised. As you say it stays in the house and is the responsability of your responsable adult even though its on permanent loan until you are of legal age to own the rifle yourself,

Si totally agree with the numpties on youtube Chairgun Pro also has a little function regarding incline shooting, but its not that clear to me, the little video that I found brought everything you said to life in my brain Phantom

Hey Ladies and Gentlemen After watching Si's (Zini) very informative vid on youtube regarding shooting at an angle I was looking for something that had some sort of visualisation of what Si was teaching us. Not that I'm too thick to understand what Si was teaching I am just one of those who takes things in a little better if I can see something to go along with what is said So after a little bit of research, I came across this (saw the original site long time ago and this has been added recently) http://www.arld1.com/targetplottrajectory3.html'>http://www.arld1.com/targetplott

tx 200 can you get a silencer to fit them?
Phantom replied to hullhunter's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
But on the other hand, its only you that hears the action, bunnies 30 yards down range won't hear the action, well they probably will given the size of their lug's but not much. I have a silencer on my springer and 30 yards down range the noise is very limited Take the silencer off though and boy do you hear a crack You can also take steps to dampen the noise of the action transfering through the wooden stock. I did this to my springer, simply put a little felt or rubber between the action and stock. I was scepticle at first, but it works a treat Phantom -
Awsome read that Bill And as per usual a good couple of well placed shots I was thinking of Stealthy's short and sweet little Paragraph while I read the bit where you describe the 'Satisfying Crack'. There really is nothing better when out in the field than the sounds of nature Especially when they finish with a little "Click", followed buy a little "Phutt" and that oh so satisfying "CRACK" Slut point awarded for that lovely read Phantom

"Awww you did dat to dat widdle baby wabit Oh how could you? " Says the bunny hugger. "Oh Thats real Easy, I aim, I squeeze this bit on me gun and da bunny gets it in da noggin" says the rest of us  Nice shooting FG I dont like doing it to the Pregnant Does or the Kits, but a pest controllers job on a clearence is to erradicate as many as possible at least until the numbers can be controlled to acceptable numbers. Well I didn't want to offend the land owner did I? Not so early in our relationship anyway She'd gone to the trouble of buying and chilling them for me knowing I was going to be there for a long time on a hot day. I wouldn't advocate drinking alcohol to get drunk when shooting, but just as a refreshing drink its fine. I knew I wouldn't go silly with the stuff and I'm very safety concious It wasn't my first time on there either, this was http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=154631 Archie: What do you expect? You wont give me the number of the girl
