  1. Hey up guy's and gal's Wandered over to the Pool Bank Clearance permission yesterday and as I arrived the landowner called me over to her kitchen UH OH I'm thinking Well as I got to her door, she opened it and told me she had spoken to her lifelong friend who lives in the bungalow next to the Cemetery and as she was so pleased with my efforts she had recomended me to her and as the church council are impressed with my efforts in the cemetery this lady has agreed to let me onto her land. So I now have access to serious bunny numbers and those lil furry feckers that think they are s
  2. I'm using 5.52 in AAF's and FX at the moment. But tightest groups were with 5.51 AAF's Phantom Mal: My hw70 quite like Marksmen in .177 but your right they are nearly as cheap as Lanes Bulldogs
  3. Hey Jack Hawke will probably send you a brand spanking new one out as soon as they recieve that one (most companies do that) Perhaps even a better model if your lucky Get some bubble wrap from the quid shop wrap it well around the scope or around the scope box and It'll be fine. Postage will depend on weight, cant see it being that heavy so recorded 1st class would be £5 to £7 I reckon, Phantom
  4. I've tried Decoying Corvids to no avail But they keep getting closer to a dead bunny with its guts opened a little Had four Crows circling me yesterday as I had three dead bunnies at the side of me. Crows are probably the most intelligent little feckers on the planet They have immensley good eyesight as well. All it takes to scare a crow off is look at it So keep well out of sight and drape some scrim or netting across your rifle as they really dont like seeing straight lines Good luck and dont forget your camera Phantom
  5. Same here but I group a couple of mill tighter with the AAF's (still witing to try the H&N FTT) Best groups I got with the MilCal in my AA S200 was four inches I would also add Promethius and Lanes BULLDOG to the worst list Phantom
  6. Hey Shay You naughty naughty boy I was banned for a while, still no idea as to why It was either because I aired my opinions on what to do to Garry Glitter when he was brought back here or because of a comment I made about the dozen or so frog soldiers killed in Afghanistan. Someone said, "We should get all the troops out of there not send in more" I replied, they should send in a lot more frog soldiers as its not often we get a Result like that To be fair though, not all the mods are Arseholes. I've found a couple who have been very usefull and they are very polite on the odd occasion they
  7. Sod the Uniforms Davy ole' boy! Its whats under the uniforms that counts And MTP is hoping that each one will have at least a little bit of MTP Phantom
  8. Sweet I though a woman was gonna give me grief about shooting a couple of weeks ago, turns out she wanted me to sort the bunnies out for her she also mentioned another woman who had loads of trouble with bunnies and its the old woman who has all the land next to the cemetery and paddock I shoot. I'd had a friend tell her I'll do it for her, but nothing ever came of it then this new permission woman said "I'll have a word with her" Cool I thought, but doubt it'll do any good though I got to the new permission yesterday and the owner called me to her kitchen, she said "I told Jea
  9. Stroller beat me to it Sym I have found a couple of times with stuff from clothes to TV's that something along the lines of this helps immediately "OKAY your the shop owner; I know my legal rights and so do you and if by any chance you don't then your in for a hard time I'll be back in a couple of hours with the Enforcement Officer from the local Trading Standards who I spoke to half hour ago. You now have three options available to you. 1/. You can use this couple of hours to think about your position in this matter and explain this to the Trading Standards Officer. 2/.
  10. I have a Hills Pump (BSA lable but made by Hills) I got mine free thanks to a friend of mine, just needed a service! Cost me about .40 pence for the seals (assorted o-rings from Wilkinsons) a bit of cleaning inside and SORTED Must admit, I pumped it (fast) till it smoked oops! and a it went POP But its still pumping Phantom
  11. Jammy Sod I walked past Argos today with Riff and there was no one offering owt Still I got some free stuff in the post thanks to a certain guy on here called Shay :notworthy: Thanks again and take care Phantom

  15. Sweet Biz Mags are a little heavy aint they, You should see them in the .22 Talk about loopy trajectory Phantom
  16. Should have chucked rabbit guts near em, they'd have soon shrieked and opened their legs Excellent shooting BTW Phantom
  17. I saw one up near the Church in Brantingham years ago chasing a kit, not yet half grown. I didn't have a clue what it was until I got back to the village post office for a coke and told the woman what I had seen. I called it a Slinky Thing Talk about bold as brass! This little slinky thing was so small, for every hop the kit made towards the log piles, the slinky had to bound about 5 times but persaverance paid off and it went for the kit's throat wasn't long before it killed it! I was mesmerised by the whole event. Phantom
  18. As said, dont do it yet as its currently illegal even with the blessingof the land owner. But once its time, go get em Brain shot as always Phantom
  19. Yep true, Anywhere in that area will drop em. When I did a few disections etc, I found the base of the ear to be almost parallel with the cerebellum which of course is right where the spinal cord joins the brain hit this area and the nervous system won't even react hence no twitching. Same as placing the shot in the spinal column from behind, which of course is a shot not recomended for any new hunter, until they are proficiant Phantom
  20. I won't be parted with my SMK XS19 shoots like a dream, knocks over most things I aim at and delivers lead exactly where I want it Its a direct copy of the Gamo Hunter and I have also shot the SMK copy of the TX200 which also delivered the goods on the range The Americans love their BAM's as they are called over there. Can tune em to be as sweet as you want. I've heard loads of people slate em, but then I found one or two good reports one from a lad in Hull. They are actually manufactured in China, but they are taken apart in the UK and modified to reduce the power outpu
  21. Chris, Don't listen to Si, contrary to what he say's I am NOT on the side of anyones quarry at all  Its frustrating aint it, remember knocking over a young un and a Fox jumped out from the orchard and nicked it from me. Lil git didn't hand around for it piccy, thats my only gripe about it. You could have had the Stoat as well they are on the GL if I remember correctly but am open to correction on that Take care Phantom
  22. Yep the Mod 60 is a pretty decent gun Trigger a lil rough perhaps but I'd buy one if it came up at the right price Manufactured by the Hatsan Arms Company, accuracy wise, it will out shoot the shooter more times than not Aiming for the eye at 15 yards probably drilled right on through I once took a shot at a bunny and it went down out for the count or so I thought! The wind had carried the pellet just to the right of my aim point as it gusted. .22 pellet went straight through one eye and left through the other eye. I thought it was a clean kill as I couldn't see the impact poi

Thank you gentlemen I've been umming and arrring about going out this evening, but as its cold and keeps promissing to wazz down I'm staying put Could have gone this morning, but had arranged to go meet up with RiffRaff for a coffee and a beer Had good natter with him and eyed up some of the nice titty in the coty centre Hoping for good weather tomorrow so I can go bag me a bunny to use as bait for the nest robbers. Keep you posted Phantom
