    I'm using 5.52 in AAF's and FX at the moment. But tightest groups were with 5.51 AAF's Phantom Mal: My hw70 quite like Marksmen in .177 but your right they are nearly as cheap as Lanes Bulldogs

    I've tried Decoying Corvids to no avail But they keep getting closer to a dead bunny with its guts opened a little Had four Crows circling me yesterday as I had three dead bunnies at the side of me. Crows are probably the most intelligent little feckers on the planet They have immensley good eyesight as well. All it takes to scare a crow off is look at it So keep well out of sight and drape some scrim or netting across your rifle as they really dont like seeing straight lines Good luck and dont forget your camera Phantom

    Sweet I though a woman was gonna give me grief about shooting a couple of weeks ago, turns out she wanted me to sort the bunnies out for her she also mentioned another woman who had loads of trouble with bunnies and its the old woman who has all the land next to the cemetery and paddock I shoot.     I have a Hills Pump (BSA lable but made by Hills) I got mine free thanks to a friend of mine, just needed a service! Cost me about .40 pence for the seals (assorted o-rings from Wilkinsons) a bit of cleaning inside and SORTED Must admit, I pumped it (fast) till it smoked oops! and a it went POP But its still pumping Phantom

    I saw one up near the Church in Brantingham years ago chasing a kit, not yet half grown. I didn't have a clue what it was until I got back to the village post office for a coke and told the woman what I had seen. I called it a Slinky Thing Talk about bold as brass! This little slinky thing was so small, for every hop the kit made towards the log piles, the slinky had to bound about 5 times but persaverance paid off and it went for the kit's throat wasn't long before it killed it! I was mesmerised by the whole event. Phantom

    Yep true, Anywhere in that area will drop em. When I did a few disections etc, I found the base of the ear to be almost parallel with the cerebellum which of course is right where the spinal cord joins the brain hit this area and the nervous system won't even react hence no twitching. Same as placing the shot in the spinal column from behind, which of course is a shot not recomended for any new hunter, until they are proficiant Phantom

    I won't be parted with my SMK XS19 shoots like a dream, knocks over most things I aim at and delivers lead exactly where I want it Its a direct copy of the Gamo Hunter and I have also shot the SMK copy of the TX200 which also delivered the goods on the range The Americans love their BAM's as they are called over there. Can tune em to be as sweet as you want. I've heard loads of people slate em, but then I found one or two good reports one from a lad in Hull.     Chris, Don't listen to Si, contrary to what he say's I am NOT on the side of anyones quarry at all :laugh: Its frustrating aint it, remember knocking over a young un and a Fox jumped out from the orchard and nicked it from me. Lil git didn't hand around for it piccy, thats my only gripe about it.     Yep the Mod 60 is a pretty decent gun Trigger a lil rough perhaps but I'd buy one if it came up at the right price Manufactured by the Hatsan Arms Company, accuracy wise, it will out shoot the shooter more times than not Aiming for the eye at 15 yards probably drilled right on through I once took a shot at a bunny and it went down out for the count or so I thought!
