  16. You see, Tony, that's where you're going wrong. Always takeing the easy way..... The pure skill and pleasure of being able to hunt with an unloaded gun that's still in it's slip has to be experienced to believed..... Honestly, some people!!!!
  17. As Garf said ME = Muzzle Energy (ft/lbs in old money) a 70 yard zero using say Biz Mag pellets would still deliver over 18ft/bs to the quarry If conditions allow (wind etc) and you can shhot straight with a high mag scope at 100 yards you would still be putting quarry down with 14.6 ft/lbs Phantom
  18. You should have told it to get stuffed, if the farmer said you could hunt for free Phantom T A X I
  19. I aint so happy now Stealthy You've sent all that nasty wet stuff up here aint yah, so I'm stuck in the fecking house Still I got to watch the kits snaffle some body parts I gave em earlier Zeus was 1st at the pile this time, his belly looks like a balloon Phantom
  20. I've found that shots to the head on kits causes them to flap about way too much even when their brains are hanging out the other side of the head The younger they are the more they do it. It looks quite disturbing don't it? So now I go heart and lungs for the very young ones; stops em dead they may run a couple of inches but they go down and they dont flap about. Phantom
  21. Hi Andy Suppose anything that lights up something in the dark is actually a Night Vision unit It would look pretty cool if you did see the beam from the side, especially if the locals from the pub were out for a fag after having a few bevvies you would need two people though to pull it off! Light Sabre battle in the field On a more serious note: Technically if the Unit uses LASER diodes then you would not see it from the side as LASER light is only visible in one direction until it hits the target and is reflected from it. However if it were misty, or raining, the water
  22. Had a nosey little Shetland Pony used to follow me around and try to knock me over just as I had the croshairs settled. Stealthy has had a run in with cattle on occasions, he got the perfect preventative to stop em though Phantom
  23. Nice one buddy I know what you mean about having to climb through thorn bush's NOT FUN at all that bit! Still worth the effort for a Woody as the meat is amazing when cooked right Phantom
  24. Garf; If the weather is to continue as it has been so far this year, the kits will be out all year round again. Remember my cemetery posts from the past? Kits were still being born when there was snow on the ground The bunny populus is expanding something rotten country wide wich is of course good and bad for us Good = more bunnies for shooting Bad = Land owners are going to get someone else in to either "Help us out" or replace us. I estimate that I shoot 1 in 4 bunnies that I see, apart from on virgin land, where they just sit next to their mates and say "WTF you pla
