    Pretty shitty really old buddy, but thats due to the wife not my shooting Seriously, I've knocked over plenty this year and pulled off some pretty good shots (if I do say so myself) that were either long range or tricky due to obsticals such as gravestones, trees long grass etc.... I'm still happy with my baby and I am proud of the way my Marksmanship has improved for much longer shots after being inspired by other regs such as you, Davy, Si, Bill etc........ As you know I have a couple of young ferrets, so may give them a job when it gets colder but I'll still be a shooter first

    A guy who took me for a wander around his permission a couple of years ago had a couple of FAC PCP's He was comfortable zeroing his at 70 yards and regularly took both Woodies and Bunnies at that range and a bit beyond, but dont know how far beyond he would go. Phantom

    I usually do mine as soon as I arrive on permission. Reason being my turrets are finger adjustable and dont lock down so it can be knocked out as I bring it out of the slip.only ever altered one time and that was my fault Phantom

    Not sure how much weight would go out or about balance. There was a very good thread on balancing guns when I first stopped lurking and became an active member of the forum. The Idea was that if your gun felt unbalanced, you would lay some strips of lead over the stock until you had it just right for yourself, then drill holes into the stock and heat up the lead (or roll it up whatever suites best) then place the lead inside of the stock to bring the balance back to your individual preferance Simply superb idea from either Buster or Grim Phantom
