Nice going Shay Good work with the longer ones Wish I was off out tonight, but still really groggy from a very heavy pharmacuitical induced sleep after 40odd hours without one! Enjoy shooting with your lad Shay SPA Phantom

I use a pump Although have used other peoples bottles a couple of times. Unless you let your cylinder go down far enough to vent the remaining air a pump is easy enough. But the bottles have the advantage of being easier still. Like pellet cal, down to your choice Phantom

Cheeky git Nah I just wanted the chance to see if what I had been told about this mag being more for the shooter than the shopper. Will make my mind up when I get to read it later this evening Phantom

So do I but he never mentioned the bigger stuff, he just said "no thanks mate ill stick to my ,.243 " He could have been talking about BlueTits for all we knew. His reply just sounded condescending to me (perhaps not meaning to be, but thats how it read). I interperated the remark to be "57 ft/lbs is still puny compared to the 2021 ft/lbs in my .243" Hence my reply. Perhaps a longer reply making his intentions known clearly would have avoided my comments. My appologies if I did miss-interperet the reply the wrong way. Phantom

Cheers Bud; Can't really miss at those ranges with an optimized trajectory, especially with it being for a reduced KZ of 3/4 inch. I just needed to show some results for the land owner and more importantly for me let off some steam a bit Its amazing how much easyer it is to pull the trigger on a bunny with a human face imagined on it (admin, we need a propper Psycho KILLER Icon please) Phantom

adjustable butt pad
Phantom replied to aaronpigeonplucker's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Right 1st Your recoil butt pad will look something like this The top circle and the bottom circle are rubber "plugs" Use a thin blunt screwdriver or as I did a table knife to prize out the plug like so This will reveal the holding screws that are drilled into the stock. Unscrew the steel screw and repeat the entire process for the other one at the bottom. Then begin prizing through the adhiesive that has been used to secure the pad to the stock, its hard work!!!! and thats how you remove the recoil pad (but lest face is its not a recoil pad on a PC -
adjustable butt pad
Phantom replied to aaronpigeonplucker's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Hi Aaron, I was given an adjustable one a while ago, which sadly did not fit the profile of the 200 I believe it came from a 410 but not 100% sure about that. Generally recoil pads have a couple of points on them where there are screws. On a quality name such as AA they will be (and NO I AINT BEING FUNNY HERE) believe it or not 'Plugged' for want of a better word. I'll get me camera and you can see what I mean this really is a case of Butt Pluggin Gimmie a few minutes. I would get one that is designed for your rifle or get one that is to be filed down to the profile of you -
Hi Alan There is also the possability that you have a failure in a seal. All it takes is a minute piece of grit to enter when out in the field or even when filling to cause a very slow but progressivley worse leak. Or even natural seal degradation, how old is the rifle? As you say, keep an eye on the pressure and monitor it for a few weeks and if it happens again replace the seals. Keep us informed buddy. Phantom

Funny you should say that :11: Both are works in progress Thanks again Phantom

Logun S16 Mk1 Not Firing
Phantom replied to MrGray's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
The good news is that Webly have sorted there act out and the owner has gotten rid of the people that almost ran Webly into the ground. They are working hard to get the name back to what it once was and they arn't taking forever to do repairs, so it may be worth ringing Webley first and asking their advice before sending it to them (don't go via an RFD unless its new as they will want their cut). Let us know whats what with it, then when someone else asks we'll all be able to give better advice Sorry we've not been of much help this time buddy. Phantom -
Thanks guy's Dillan, I've done one artical for Target Shooter Online about a club I help run. Was offered a job writing for them until I asked about being paid, all comms suddenly went quiet :realmad: Did an artical for Mr Doe's Mag but alas it wasn't published A few people have asked me that same question, perhaps I should submit more Phantom

OHHHHH YES (Best Churchil Mutt impersonation) I don't buy the mags anymore, to little info, too many adds and way over priced! Although I must admit, to having a quick gander at em sometimes in smiths. The two new ones are supposed to be better I even went out and bought one of them (cuz there was some pix of me and the rest of UBC in it) Phantom Nah not really, I'm the Club Secretary and we've had TWO Articals Published about the UBC now I wrote one and MikeB (10M Comp Manager) wrote the second Not too bad total body count of 20 14 of which were prev

Decided that I had better show my face at Mrs G's AKA Bunny Land last night. I rang the doorbell and when Mrs G' answered she was soooooo pleased to see me, she thought I had vanished from the Face of the Earth as I've not been there (oficially) in a while, well it was after that cunting Antie gave me the grief about shooting and Mrs G allowing me to shoot on her land. Anyhow, she greeted me with a huge smile and told me she was glad I had come back as there were "quite a few about" She told me she had seen the Black Bunny (Linford) dead on her side Lawn next to the Cemetery , she sa
