    I saw him hunt up 5 foxes and kill 3 of them at 11yrs old while 4 other lurchers didnt even know what was happening.I was just pleased my bitch had a couple that day or i would have been as gutted as the other lads out that day.

    Spent a few hours walking one night mate and ended up with this lot left my house at 930pm that evening and never got back in til 530am Like a said mate, not aboit being lazy, just versatile a can lamp me wee dog on the slip, off the slip walking around.... Similarly I can open the drivers side rear door at 10-20mph and he can be out & on the bunnys. Can yours do that? Never been a fan of running dogs from a car but runninng them on rabbits from a car is asking for a serious injury.

    But would he make the same dog today.Punch was owned by a good dog man who was also young and keen to make a point.His owner put the time in making sure the dog was always fit and on top of his game and travelled the length and breadth of the country putting the work in front of him.Would he have made such a great dog in different hands or in these present times wher its getting harder to work a dog like we could 20yrs ago.

    Good to see Bishops Finger and Spitfire getting the thumbs up they are both brewed 4 miles away from me and 7 out of 10 pubs in my area are owned by the same brewery and most of the freehouses sell their beer aswell.I keep telling myself im going to have to get myself used to liking ale as i dont like lager and Guiness is the best part of 4quid a pint everywhere now and a lot of places cant even keep a good pint of it.

    Fair enough i suppose im lucky lucky as they are everywhere down here.Ive kept all sorts of british finches years ago but as ive got older i really dont like seeing them stuck in them tiny little cages where all they can do is hop from perch to perch.I believe if if they should at least be kept in aivierys or as bigger cage as possible.

    If you want to hear a really good Goldie song sit out in the garden in the summer.They allways sound better sat in a tree wild and free rather than fretting away in a poxy little cage.
