  3. tonight saw jim and dave make a visit to line there working colli/grey bitch to my Blue kc whippet dodger who is 20" and 28lb, they had a litter a couple of years ago out of this bitch to Nigel jack, unforchantly they didn't get the bitch they wanted from that matting but have 2 dog's close by, they are looking to keep a bitch back and if all goes well use one of the two dogs out of jack over her. this is Dodgers 3rd bitch 24" colli/greyhound, should be nice pups if all goes well. and most should end up working. pick of the tie Tom
  4. first trip last week me and Nigel had a trip to some new permisson in the dales last saturday, all looked well and we were set for a good day. the Farmer pointed out a couple of places he wanted us to look at first the first was on a stepp banking with just 1 main set on. i entered to jills and the rabbits started bolting immediatly Tod and Fly worked well and we bagged 7 big rabbits from here and missed a couple but they will be there next time. we then headed up the other side of the fell were he said the main head of rabbits are. we ferreted a few set balting for the two whippets and
  5. this is my young dog Flint he is bred out of Mike Browns Glen and Nigels Gypsy, good nose, natural retriever and stamina so far so good. he is 21" and 34lb this is my blue Dog Dodger, bred out of Supa blue and Elgedane cast no shadow he's doing very weel in the field for me and going in to his 3rd season never let me down yet. he is 20" and 28lb last but not least my blue and white dog Tod he is 21 1/2" but non kc reg Cheers Tom
  6. they can learn so much field craft at a young age it def helpn for them to see warrens and get a little fur in the mouth off netted rabbits its not about running them at first but learning a rm said Tom

  8. his whippets are very good, so going off that his bedlington whippets should do the job. Tom
  9. speak to lads who are breeding worker to worker and see what crops up a few names will come up time after time . Tom
