    I was going to check the soil under the first early tatties to see if they where nearly ready but they have started flowering now so i will leave them another couple of weeks and see what happens

    Killed rabbits using all the different methods all year round for ferret food I still dont miss that gutting smell , I get as many pheasants as i want from a local shoot as there's no rabbits here who would of thought 20 years ago i would of been feeding pheasants to my ferrets how the mighty have fallen

    If you ask yourself , Is my ferret a good enough worker to be bred from . The kits should in good hands make the grade . So it wont matter which one you keep But you got to watch there's too much shit being bred because its the easiest way to bring a jill out of season

    I can remember when i used to control the rabbits at work a university nearly 500 acres i did it for 10 years shot loads of rabbits and the Estate manager bought me pellets as he wasnt using them in his airgun Air arms fields , When i had to buy my own after that i got a rude awakening . Somebody said the big price increase was as Chima was buying all the scrap lead up .

    My old boy was president of the local branch of homing pigeons he was right into it , i remember him betting 1p ,2p 5p 10p or 50p on his pigeons and i thought last of the big spenders , but he went over to Ireland for his greyhounds and it was only when he died we found out he many he had half shares in LOL

    Now the bulbs are going over in the containers i fill them with geranium's got a couple of hundred (At Morrisons they were £4 for 20 now £5 ) i used to pop in and get some harden them off and get more , But i found out i can get mixed , red or pink there's no trays of white
