    We used to go two hours each way for a days ferreting and cover a lot of miles , had 12 ferrets of my own could work all my mates ferrets as well now just got the 4 ive waited 3 years but theres still no sign of the rabbits coming back

    If you where selling off your ferreting gear would you get your locators serviced first , to see they where okay and there's no comebacks ?. Then would you sell off all your gear in one lump sum ? or else after the locators and nets you could be left with the rest ?.

    I got mixed feelings about the guy first week as first minister he scrapped the toils on the Forth road bridge , Then started getting another bridge across the forth , Bad side he had a big stone made as long as the sun shines and i am in power no Scottish student shall pay for there education or such like , He offered it to three universities before we got offered it Then when he was accused of touching up the woman the couldn't get it moved into storage fast enough

    After the first frost yesterday i took up all the marrows , pumpkins and i think Scotland's not the place for growing them outside , The courgettes fruited like weeds and where great fried with a bit of butter , The sweetcorn despite hand pollinating them every day the corn on the cobs is like join the dots so next year i will give it a last chance in the greenhouse , Other than that i will just grow potatoes in tubs mainly first earlies but some maincrop and apache if i can get the seed tatties

    Try sudocrem stuff they use for babies bums lot cheaper and does the same thing his mate gets a mouthful of that he wont be so quick to grab on again

    Unless you know somebody to vouch for you its hard , You might not be who you say you are , Or once youve been out you might poach the ground . Better to start off beating and meet folk that way

    A adult ferret worked regular will soon learn the knack of how to kill rabbits and move on which is fine if your only out a couple of hours on a sunday morning , but doing pest control you want every rabbit out making sure there dead and the burrows empty , So anything that helps you got to try and a well fed ferret is a start

    always had access to food 24/7 i want them to hunt because they want too not because there hungry and to kill and eat every rabbit

    Get them going threw pipes in the garden just now get them used to putting them down and picking them up moving your feet near them a lot of time spent on them just now stops them being hole shy later .Dont forget to put collars on and off them or first time out they will spend half the time rubbing there necks at the side of the hole

    Still got 2 tubs of potatoes to empty out but i have been lifting them as we needed them The courgette's are going crazy got normal ones and ball shaped yellow one Then just sitting back till the last minute to lift the marrows and pumpkins The corn on the cob was doing well then something ate all the tassels off some cobs so i dont think they will get any bigger whether it was earwigs or slugs i dont know i never saw a slug on them but there always covered in earwigs at night

    Think i would of cover her with a snipped hob your going to lose the use of the jill for 3 months and the kitts might just see a bit as the season finishes
