    Hi Trappa I have noticed most most farmers are not willing to be tied into a contract,infact most are so tight with their money for pest control and its not that important to them. Nowdays ,They get money from Natural England to leave areas unkept to attract wildlife

    any of the snugpak range seems to be the one I use they are light weight yet very warm waterproof and windproof or you can get the old army goretex jacket they do the job just aswell

Netloft is a hunter countryman ,makes the nets and uses them,I have bought stuff from him in the past and is in good order.its well made,and will last.     sorry to hear about whats happened to you, but give the guy a chance to put things right. you must have his details including name and address so why dont you take the time out and go see him. Then if all else fails Name and shame him along with his personal details.     I have always used the Mora, they are quite cheap,hold their sharp edge for sometime, I was at the midland game fair and saw them for about a tenner. Have a lookhere I always carry an opinel No8 for everyday use same again good light knife with a great blade great site and loads of reasonable priced stuff for bushcraft

    I would consider the implications discharging a firearm,whether it be your own land or not ,I would say you are in danger of losing your licence. to me its not worth it,go and buy some bangers ,its nearly November 5th

    I personally think its common sense to inform the local plod,before I go shooting, when and were, I will be and then phone them again when I have left the area. I dont consider it,any of the police's business to inform them who is with me or what guns calibres and serial numbers etc... What about using Night vision ????

    Try St Johns market in town ,theres a few butchers in there that are helpful
