    sHOOTING NEAR THE AIRPORT WILL BE DOWN TO THE ANTI TERRORISIM UNIT VOICING CONCERNS I also had a bit of Land to shoot on near the airport and was stopped a few too many times,for my liking, asking all kinds of questions ,But it was when the uk was on red alert.

    you can get ferret nuggets, or any other dried ferret food, but also let it have real meat, either fur or feather rabbit,pigeon pheasant,even squirrels etcccc.............

    shame smigger lost in the 9th round ref stopped the fight james degale was the stronger fighter of the 2 and fully deserved to win. I know paul quite well and I think he took his foot off the gas in the early rounds to conserve energy for the latter stage of the fight. degale came on strong and hit smigger with some big punches

    Good bit of kit mate, you have got the right equipment to get up close to the quarry. the IR torch working with the NV monocular will pick up the charlies eyes,an IR filter alone, will set you back about £ _£100

    If you have an open ticket then you are ok to do it with written permission,BUT if you have NOT got an open ticket and restricted,then you will need to contact your local firearms office and confirm that the land is suitable and has had a land check. first thing I would do is just check with your local firearms office.

    BASC, the great divide between countrymen and the editor of the magazine,with regards to the above,surely someone amongst the higher echelons at BASC, must have noticed the difference between a ferreter with a bedlington x whippet and a deer poacher now that for me just puts the icing on the cake,here is a company,a business ,wether your sport be shooting,ferreting,mole catching fishing etc... and they are portraying the normal rabbit catcher as a deer poacher.... is the fly fisherman a poacher mmmmm he could be but then again NO surely not The rabbiter with his rabbit catching dog Y

    Good for you young sir...........i only wish i had the faith and stickability to do the same,i have till now but i cant see it lasting......as ive realised,loyalty will only get you so far.....but its an admirable stance to take nonetheless might be right now,but in 10 yrs time this small Island called the uk will be run by asians and most will convert to islam,the government is shit scared to stand up against them incase it causes any problems,Im off as soon as. been and done my reccy in the summer,just waiting for the formalities to be done and then its adios

    Most Landowners /farmers will be unwilling to pay,as they usually have a queue of people waiting to go on and do it for FREE but if you can do a job for them that others cannot do :ie mole trapping as this can be time consuming and become costly in travelling costs and extra visits. But good luck to you in these hard times

    Well congratulations go out to, Dave Simpson on a fantastic book,THE WARREN it provides useful information to the Fieldsports person. I recieved my copy earlier today and have thoroughly enjoyed the read upto now. still loads more to get through.     river mersey producing some nice cod,pollock and whiting.also plenty of rays I was out earlier today,plenty being caught but many on the small size and returned to grow a bit bigger
