    they still make them now Victor. very light and fast flying. aslong as the pellets arnt damaged or covered in crap give them a go.

    try your local carboot for the gear, theres allways rods and reels etc about. should save you a big chunk of cash

    wilf, thats what i usually fish with....either that or meat but the little fish take any corn before it has sunk to the bottom. even with a big plummet on they still swim down to pick it up. same with the meat. they keep picking away at it till theres only a small peice left on the hook and so ye still catch one! boilies and big pellets seem the only things they dont touch.

    TTT went to the tackle shop today - 800g of boilies, i didn't know what flavour would be best so got tiger nut and pineapple, any good? bottom line after that i was 11 quid down and still needed groundbait and pellets still hope they do the business tomorrow but no chance i'm paying that evertime so i await MC's explanation of what amounts of what to use to make me own

    now you mention it yes i am like her. slim build, athletic (well looseing a bit of shape now!) wary of strangers especially if they want to sniff me ass, doesnt mind water but not too keen on swimming, easily highped up if you know what buttons to press, gets the job done quickly with no faffing about the more i think, the more i could go on

    whys that? it does take a while - i did a dvd the other day for a member off here and it took 1hr approx perhaps a bit more and that was for a 700mb avi film.

    yup - it works well for us. drop a worm in any deep spots and just feel for a bite. the river by me sounds like yours - i found a deep spot were no one goes, proper midege ridden place. i dropped the worm in and pulled out a decent sized fish. good luck.

    how deep is the river mate? you could try poking them if its shallow enough and you get a mate to help out.

    get your wormers online and get a perscription off the vets for the ear drops (if there POM). the price vets charge for basic things is crazy. i looked in the locla pet supply place at wormers the other day. 8 quid for 2 drontals
