  1. i use the 180 nite stalker and find it good. nice tight spot on it but yes it does give a bit of glare off and the tight spot comes with that massive reflector. dont think you can get the range of filters though, or you couldnt last time i checked.
  2. thanks Ryan. im still confused but i'll have a look and as i say probably get back with my problems. i havnt even had the package yet but checked the instructions from it online and watched a vid but im still non the wiser. perhaps once i get the radio out i can just get it in there. all the cables and that come with it and there 2-3 core that have the phone jacks on one end so plug straight into the interface. i've had another look at the instructions online and i still havnt got much of a clue but sure i'll figure it out. i'll send you a pm in abit mate..
  3. coming from you who says the hardest part is to get the wires from the engine bay into the cabbin if worst comes to worst i'll slice the gromit so ive space to get the wires in and tape it up after. knowing my luck if i route the cables under the car they'll end up getting sliced! the parking sensor was an example it isnt permanant live i want, it'll flaten the battery if i leave it on all the time or forget to turn it off surely. is the black/brown just earth then? looks like its going to the - terminal on pic 1,? i've got plenty of crimps and that in the garage if needed so thats no probl
  4. yeah drontal plus is fine. should say on the leaflet you had with the wormers but worm the pup every 2 weeks untill its 12 weeks old, thereafter at 3 month intervals. doseage is; 2-5kg=1/2 tab 6-10kg=1tab 11-15kg=1 1/2 16-20=2 think you can see the pattern emergeing. have a look on vetmedic.com for the wormers. its were i get mine from and much cheaper than the vets.
  5. just a fter a bit of advice guys. say for example i had a parking sensor or similar that i needed to fit to the front of the car. is the only hole in the firewall were the cable for the bonnet release passes the firewall in the passenger front well? im planning on putting the switch on the pull out panel (were the wheel is to adjust the height beam on the lights) and tapeing the buzzer on at the back save drilling more than i need to. if theres a blue wire to mute the stero when the sensor comes on, on the power cord that is supose to connect to the blue on the stero is it just a case of u
  6. btw, do you need a license for a spring powered air rifle? thought ide ask you lot because i can get easy to understand answers here =] as long as the power output isnt more than 12 ft/lb you dont. if its over that you need a FAC. dont know about the camping bit sorry..
  7. if you want it for training a dog or whatever save your money as its not that! its more of a collection of PD's experiances and times in the field. have a look here for a review.
  8. take your time with the pup. get it socialised, stock broken, broken to ferrets and generally used to everyday life. work on recall, retreiving and obediance, get a good bond with the little one and entering and everything else will be much easyer and above all have fun...even when it totally ignores you have a look for a dvd by dave sleight - purdeys progress. it follows the progress of one of his young pups and how he trains it and at what age etc. theres allso a follow up called lurcher fieldcraft which is purdeys first year of work, again another good dvd. best of luck
  9. cracking read and a nice guy too! well worth the cash
  10. frontline the ferrets regular and you wont have any problems. only use a small amount sprayed onto your hand and rubbed all over the furt as its not licensed to use on ferrets.
  11. IT WOULD BE BETTER IF THE LURCHER PEOPLE COULD PARK NEAR TO THE RINGS. OVER HEARD 4 LADS SAYING THAT WHILE THE CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS WAS TAKING PLACE THAT THEY WOULD BE GOING AROUND CARS AND VANS LOOKING FOR DOGS TO STEAL. THAT REALLY WORRIED ME SO REPORTED IT . hope you reported it to the people who would get them sorted ladyp

  14. did you have a slip then? try to pick them carefully so he's allmost guaranteed a catch to help boost up the young ones confidence. if you can get them to run up the beam to you even better blinding the rabbit- just mind you dont blind the dog lol. sometimes rocking the beam can put them off abit and give the dog a few more seconds for a pick up especcially near hedges. best of luck and enjoy that feeling, walking home buzzing when he eventually connects
  15. crazy indeed but like MC said, in a good way lol.

  17. Only if they pick your package out of the hat, mate. It's more a lottery than a certainty. i was led to beleive that all packages/parcels went through customs and duties applied nope. see if the seller will mark it as a gift. even if it is picked then you wont have to pay duty.
