    I've had the usual hooks in fingers were someones gone past and caught the line with there feet I've also lost a fair bit of tackle Top 3 sections of a pole, I left the pole in after not having much all day, ran round the other side to the phone and saw this "stick" going down stream. Few seconds later I realised there was no current in this lake and it was my pole Also lost the top section of a rod.     Theres a hell of alot of fish there. You can see a few drop out of the net but when the camera man looks at the net thats been pulled in

    Me too aslong as I know them well, if I don't I tend to keep my mouth shut incase I say anything that I could regret to the wrong person :glare: But perhaps I'm just paranoid I guess the toilet thing in pubs is just a womans thing. I've never noticed it anyway..

    I very rarely go out. Like you Kay i'm not much of a "mixer" unless the is in but the cost of it now I'd rather spend it on more worthwhile things or stay in with a few mates. What's a pint cost now in a pub? 2.50 in the local pubs, in town most are 3 quid+. Whiskey, 2.00-2.50 a single and I'm not paying 30+ quid just for drinks then theres food and admission etc, it soon mounts up. Much cheaper to stay in and just as good with the right people

    Neil, I have had stuff nicked before. Both gear and livestock. But last time I checked it was ok to take a few fish once granted permishion. I guess things are a little different over in Ireland but what does it matter, It's only a few fish afterall

    Cracking write up M Do you recon he does that everynight then or was it just with the party and him being awake at those times I'd imagine it could of been a bit emotional if you heard the crunching gravel while you were navigating the nautical steamer How long was it between him taking a breather from the party then?
