Can anyone advise me the best place to buy genuine talpex traps. I've always used barrel traps and had some good experience with the talpex when helping a mate out.
-
Ok thats your personal circumstances, no motor etc. I have my two insured for £11 per month and once i got one that needed stitching up whilst out lamping at 2am. The emergancy vet got a call out and that was it, just said the dog caught itself when chasing a squirrel. On the insurance claim form you dont have to mention lamp or whatever. The vet dont care, he wants you to make a claim so he gets the money.

yes mate your missing out on a lot of nutrients that can be drawn from vegatables. but good to see your feeding animal fats, a lot of folk dont realise that's where dogs get their energy from...not carbs as some tend to think. I like to run my dogs diets on around 2/3 meat (for protein), 1/4 veg and the rest made up of herbs, oil/fat and any other handy ingredients to aid the dogs well being.
-
As seen and already presented...tripe has "some" protein but is mostly just full of water.

if you want the hunting mans answer.....shoot f**k out them all!!! If you want the answer to control urban foxes...then educate the public!!!
-
I usually make and use my heavy spun ploy nets and with your usual temperate weather then great. However with the smoother texture of the nylon i can see where Tomo is coming from.

I got, asked to shoot loads last year after the attack in East London but I didn't as I don't want to use the rifle in urban areas/gardens......for me, it's not worth the aggro I live trap all mine mate, then shoot them at my lock up, nice and easy that way. My lock up is on a farm so out of the way and then incinerate.

I love the media...its got me 4 extra jobs in that i wasn't expecting. I work in Manchester on a regular basis and been to collect 2 foxes this morning. so yes i agree its very unfornuate for the young kid involved but its been great for business. Wait til he's older, its some cracking story to tell his mates over a beer.

try and get a second hand one if you can. they cost about 70 - 75 quid to replace brand new
-
so get the postcode and phone number on here. you must have a house number or even a first name as well. someone will know who he is
-
Who sold you the dog? And i dont mean..."someone on here", "or a lad from up the road". What i do mean is, his name, address, phone number, his motor...etc etc. that way someone on will know him and maybe have a word in his ear. So sorry to hear how you've been done over.

this is Coco...great little daytime dog for the rabbits. Has taken other gear as well, and i believe would've taken them in better numbers if i put the stuff in frontt of her. She's 7 now and will be sadly missed when gone. Only 22" TTS, so has always struggled to come to terms with longs ears. But for marking, hunting up etc etc...then brilliant!!!

Yep....not a bad night at all for a frosty and windless night. It was hard on the dogs and Xena took a pounding on her feet on that tough heather. Cant wait to get back up there, a long drive but very worth it

As an 18 year old he'll find it very hard to get the work at face value, due to grumpy, ignorant tossers that will doubt him due to his lack of experience. If he really plans to set up his own business in this industry then he needs to realise the amount outgoings before he gets the income. Website(s), advertising, Vehicle and the running costs. Business insurance, stock, and so on and so on....... He needs to find something that makes him different (and better) to his competition. Being cheaper doesn't always mean more work as potential customers may look at this as sign of incompetan

Do you know anyone that could show you the ropes. I got some old fella to teach me the rights and wrongs of mole trapping and it came in really useful. Half the time i cant be done with moles on farms and push the work back to this old fella. I got myself qualified few years ago and just stick to domestic and small commercial jobs. I charge £50 if i know its the one mole, then obviously more if theres more moles.

Bleeping all day???? just have it on when the ferret kills. And even then if it does ya nut in...use the pin point dial to turn the noise down. -
probably kennel cough, very contagious to other dogs. Get it to the vets as soon as possible

You need to communicate, otherwise eBay don't like this. So just say the item had been sent and sorry for their error. Then that's it! It's all you need to do. I sell a lot on eBay and get it like you do. A dispute will occur, but you won't lose out. Just go along with things. The twat of a buyer is twat.

Stop thinking breeds...take the advice already given and go for a litter that has parents that can do the business for what you'd want from a dog. On a regular basis. I've seen Bedlington crosses, I've seen shit collie crosses, shit saluki crosses, I've seen shit from types if breeds. But I've also seen some excellent stuff from these breeds. A good litter first, how you bring it on and nurture the pup is second... The rest is pure luck
