  7. hi bog-blocker...3/4 grown are easier IMHO due to the fact that they are dumber than full grown ones....i dont beleive they can twist any better than an older rabbit....

  10. Yes Stabs, during the formative years that the wholedigging game floursiehed in, the 70's, many places were worked with dogs doubled up. This was purely done to, i guess, get a result. Probably the one dog couldnt do its job, so another was fired in, and so on....that was way of life back then.....i too have the compalation and its a bloody good read...several family members in there too... ..some good reads from the 's!....JD
  11. The fact of the matter is, its hard to find a terrier that could be classed as a good dog to ground, i.e, dug to every week, one hole(most of the time) and not scared to stand its ground if nessesary....but to find a white one is even harder....IMO... BUT they do, invariably, exist...thats for sure...JD

  22. Tom, you are quite right to say it is illegal to hutn in the UK with a bow...luckliy for me i have travelled and messed about with them....in depth......bowhunting is a sport that requires a great degree of skill and fieldcraft. It is one of the best things i have ever done in my life....and i can honestly say that shooting a bow taught me alot....when an arrow leaves a bow it doesnt shoot straight, but flexes wildly like a fishes tail.....you need to tune the bow AND each individual arrow to be able to do good shots....i could regularly hit a coke can at 20 yards....and a rabbit sized target
