having read the post...could it be possible for the bitch to think that she is playing some sort of game with you?.... what would happen if you just walked away fast?... what would happen if you sent another dog near her? would she drop the rabbit?... will she walk on the lead with a rabbit???? will she walk at heal with a rabbit? have you tried turning your back to her?... just a few thoughts and queries.....good luck.... do you fancy a day fly fishing soon?

went for a walk with young deisel today....we bagged 3 squirrels, 2 woodies and a magpie...it is plainly obvious that this young man needs to wear boxing gloves in bed because his eyesight was horrendous! he needs to leave his tail alone before he goes blind altogether! :sick: here are a few piccys...

didnt quite make , ended up with scooby dropping 74 deer....he also got a few hares, rabbits , the last 4 foxes he ran and a few other critters such as the goats....etc....i woudlnt be surprised if a book is written by someone on the last season of unrestricted lurcherwork.... lol... with hindsight, i wish i had gone for the 100 mark as a target, and i would have done it i reckon...oh well...such is life.. :search:

I really dont know what came over my boy today..we helped out on a canada good cull and as he was the only dog there, i had to use him to pick up those drifting out on the pond!... It goes to show that, in many cases, the lurchers limits are often held in check by the mind of its owner.....all this sequence was photographed on one retreive, quite far out and in water much, much deeper than scooby..... Out he goes....
