Caught my first ever big water Ferox yesterday in about 20 foot of water on a full small mackerel....Chuffed.

Try her with different foods. Raw meat, sausages from the supermarket, chicken, It will be a temperorary thing i should imagine.

I have a box full of lures i am attatched to!!!! Use 80lb braid and you will never lose a lure again! I will take a few photos of my pike-luring friends and post them.

Going back to the mid nineties we used to bloody haunt the dales. There were rabbits everywhere in big numbers and the best out of one sprawling warren was either 16 or 18 with just the one ferret.Great times when i was carefree.....

Probably summer i might bob up, I need to visit the cairngorms for something, though i doubt i will buy an Association ticket as i hear the fishing has been getting worse....Would be nice to photograph a capercaillie as i know a very good place for them...

Mortimers is the tightest tackle shop in the world. My mate had about £200 worth of lures on the counter and they still wouldn't knock a penny off! When he asked for a discount the man looked at him as if he had insulted his mother!

I know that bridge, spent many a happy hour on the Spey chasing migratory fish to no avail! I know how you feel mate. I have whipped the water to a foam there many a time without as much as a hows your father. It's the spey bridge near Grantown. Yes its the 'new' bridge not too far from Oglesbys casting platform. I like the old bridge better myself, especially that deep hole under it... I have spent weeks on that stretch....

You would think their legs would freeze off! They have evolved a special design of blood vessels,the warm blood going to the feet is in very close contact with the vessels full of near-freezing blood coming from the feet. This, apparently raises the temperature of the blood going to the heart a small amount and helps make everything more efficient. From what i can gather..

it depends how open minded as a person you are it could be looked at as slagging it off or it could be looked as constructive critisisym and we all know this site could be alot better just a thought I know what you are saying, but some people are just born moaners, and I'm afraid this site is no longer a place for them. Falling out and piss taking is accepted, even encouraged , but those who are simply on here to voice constant negativity won't be on for long. Stewie, I would say the reason you a have been banned was nothing at all to do with John Keswick, but to do with you slagging the site off on a regular basis.
