  1. Im in the same boat mate, Im self employed just now, and have been for ages, as a self employed you still only pay tax on profits (after deducting costs). Ive been toying with the idea of becoming ltd but I cant see the benefits at present. Though I hope to go bigger over the next few years, and like you say appearance counts for a lot these days
  2. Aye, the best thing you could do is get out hunting with the sort. See for yourself. Hope you have a good day.
  3. Seen a couple, and they could hunt hard and fast. They were bull/grey x welsh hound. Great for driving woods and forest and casting out over open hill.

  5. Seen loads recently, even stopping off at the wee hill loch by me here. The other day I was watching a sea eagle trying it on with the canada geese, but it couldnt drive them off the water, the osprey got the feck out of the way lol great pic as usual cheers
  6. One of the best lurchers I had was wider chested then yours, he was agile and fast too, usually put a smile on everyones faces.. you will likely soon be experiencing that the desire and prey drive of the bull cross is second to none. And the results should speak for themselves.... or it turns its head and you burry the pot licker in the field Fingers crossed
  7. Still on with it mate, got a domain name bought, thats about it so far
  8. Thanks for the help folks, Im going to check them out. Nige if your photos are anything to go by, that lens must be a good'un DnN
  9. Ok, ive got a Nikon 3100, its a decent camera, ut the lens that came with it is pretty short range. I mainly take scenery and wildlife pics, so a good bit of zoom is essential. I think most nikon lens's will fit to this camera, anyone recomend a good lens with long range? Cheers DnN
  10. Not sure, but that seemed to be the parrot at the top of the pecking order. I spent a hung over hour or so watching them!

  15. Im wanting to create a website, but im finding it hard to choose who to go with to create a good site, that will be owned by me. So ideally a 1 off payment, with my own .com or .co.uk domain name. Any ideas? DnN
  16. The general opinions was that they came in early due to the really warm weather we had last spring.... that soon changed back to shitty wet summer though lol
  17. Any pics of the harrier/pointers? DnN
  18. I know a few pro guides that use small beagle types, that bay up bush pig great. I could put you in touch with them if you like. I hope to come over one day and get some good hunting. I didnt realise you were working catch dogs... do you use breast plates/cut collars with them? best way to upload pics is by uploading them to a photobucket.com account then copy and paste the bottom link into forum posts, hope that helps
