funny thing , you mentioned shooting clays, because of all my shooting i done more clays, than wild stuff. say on 50 clays i hit about 35, so just better than average shot, the prob with clays as soon there out of the trap there slowing down, where live stuff they will increasing , ok if a there dropping down to decoys , or you shoot the odd rabbit feeding, but most will be picking speed up, so you got to keep the gun moving, and shot just in front to hit them. i personally think shooting clays 1st, fecked me up , would have been better to start on pigeons / ducks / partridge ,1st

i know the pure acd are brill guards, and wont tolerate strange dogs, a farmer had one like phil says you had to be very careful if he was out in the yard, most times he was on a chain . but thought that acd x grey would be alot calmer with greyhound in its veins . the most aggressive dog ive had with people and dogs , was a kelpie x collie x gey , as ive said before very dangerous to man or dog , she soon went one way ticket . suppose with lurchers regards temp or physical ability , you really never know what gene it will pick up from either parent as some could have a a

thats it mate flapping around/ panicking , i get all the feckin while with my 2 dogs , more so with the big one , even though he as daft as brush , ive told them 100 times he soft , i am pissed of of telling them . I know what you're saying, but if you own an aggressive dog and get it on a lead when people/dogs approach, there's nothing more annoying than some soppy tit letting their dog walk up to you anyway and telling you that their dog is ok....especially when you are blatantly putting yours on because it attacks other dogs! true rob your right, i suppose i do loose my dogs of ther

But i just left them for a couple weeks , and it worked they come in the garden under the bird feeder , and mooch not really moving about , then wallop got him rats can be very nervy , so just chill you get them in end
-
brill ,like the boxer dog at the end

true , i think when your going in to serious money say over 2 grand , then maybe it time to look for another dog, there plenty of dogs in the pound that need a start in life , give them a chance , at the end of the day a dog just a dog , its not a humane .!!
