nice 1/4 collie 3/4 grey, 25in 60lb there abouts, great for rabbits day/night, very easy to train more so than beddyx , beddys xs can be more stubborn type dog, great when you get them right and nice size22-24 in, but if its your 1st lurcer the above colli e x grey spot on

brill that mate , he doing well , what the bitches like, they as strong/tough as the dogs , seem to be that the males are prefer d more than bitches, we had another USA hunter on here Dan who hunted mainly yotes , and he said dogs were best, but when you get a good bitch , you deff got a great animal .

,great post mate, like all your dogs , that big fawn dog a great looking dog, and as you say very good at his job, his pup with the pit looks like he could follow like his dad, apbt always put grit in to any type dog. The Wolfhound type xs seems popular in Oz for pig hunting, but like your type wolfhounds you use , there are similar that they got other breeds in there genes , as there no way on this planet , that the type you see at KC = show dogs would be used, they have soft temps, and heart and joint probs and not long lived at all 6-8 years old that about average they make . i

is it a (Anatolian shepherd dog) ? like a kangal but not as powerful , and different temp, proper type Kangals are kept just as working dogs, not many leave there country .My mates wife from Turkey and he goes over few times and told me that them ones they keep up the mountains etc guard there sheep/ goats are big vicious feckers if they dont know you , not dogs to mess with .

my mates Boerboel bitch i told you about , she prob not like some of the bandogs, etc thats been bred and tested to the full, she prob soft temp compared to alot of dogs been shown on here .But fook me if she was like them in temp , she would just bust you up 100% . i went round to see him to ask to look after my 2 dogs for a day got a wedding on dec, he got couple of Italian hunting hounds and this Boerboel bitch , she 2 1/2 now about 24in and like a tank god knows whats she weighs , Buck 86 lb but he 28in , god knows what she weighs more like 12st i reckon . he had prob wit

well the last 3 months we had here in England june was red hot, and with C/W going to happen every year , you better of going to places like Cornwall , Devon etc , they nice places nice beaches , and cater for holiday makers kids would love it there, we went years ago with my lad when he was nipper , great holiday back then , so the old sun out plenty of nice places in the UK .

yeh suppose a powerful dog like that , and how sharp he with people come in very handy . just come back of my 1st walk today , and met a couple with gsd xcolliex lab , guy said got it off a farm . it looked like big lab, nice temp with people and dogs , just like my big dog Buck. told the guy he daft big lump, wouldn't guard etc. he told me that his mrs was walking it the other night , and a pissed up bloke was following her , and went to talk to her, the dog started to growl and stiffen up, the bloke moved back, his mrs said i really think he would have had him if came any closer to me

how your dog bred ? is it a straight colliex grey or got other breeds in it or is it a beddyx grey .? just out of interest . deff think drop of collie in a lurcher good thing , same as any other base line blood what ever the breed, but a 1/4 plenty be it beddy, pit , gsd , lab , any working breed to 3/4 running dog .

i am the same mate , like said it pisses me off with this staring at me , i do know that say 1/4 collie or 1/4 gsd to 3/4 running dogi would have got a dog not so focused on me, but more on other things .Bryn never stalked , but did would only run what he wanted , not complain really as when he was younger would get few 30s a night, that was ok for me.Buck simlar in temp with this feckin staring at me all the while,but same carnt complain as he give good shift in the lamp, got better stamina than Bryn . i did have beddyx as my 1st lurcher 34 years ago , was ok but never really got o

didnt know that, what dogs are they using now then / is it still gsds, but from differnt lines , as they wanted to keep the gsd size and strength , and not have smaller dogs. i know a ex Raf dog handler , who help pick pups out for the police to use , he went for temp/ size that what he told me, confident bold pups .

fair point that mate, i was talking to a bloke last week who kept pure beddys and beddyxs for long time, his favorite type dog and its xs .But he did say the same as you, that they deff not like a herding x , that colliexs and gsd xs, kelpie , acd , etc are very biddable type dogs , beddy and there xs , have differnt mind set to them. my 2 dogs 95% of the time always have one eye on me. it does piss me off at times lol , but thinking about it , suppose its better than a dog who (dont ) listen and just gets his head down and pissed off, there a old sayin ( better the devil you know )

nice pups them, and the police are using this x alot now , they want healthier type dog, the mail , will give better hips, as HD , and elbow /hd prone in pure gsds . its same with Buck the 4/8 greyhound in him give lot more healthier dog than pur gsd, but he picked up the greys temp soft with people and ok with dogs , he dont guard , just looks the part haha

sounds good that, plenty of grit in there for teeth job, and that drop of whippet in there should drop the size down a bit, and give bit more agility, a bullx whippet x grey good x, and wheaten might give bit better coat. what you got dog or bitch, and what size will they make 25-26in 70 odd lb ?

steady on Ted lol, it never come home mate, but at least there showing bit of improvement , its a step in the right direction mate, anyway back to good my team Wolves there showing great ability/form in the Preminger league Come on the Wolves .
