i worked in south lopham near dis in 1976 and there were loads of them on redgrave fen,used to catch them with a whippet, they're pretty slow though,don't take alot of catching

i have always bought dogs,i prefer them to work,they don't come into heat so can be used in company anytime and don't upset the rest of the kennel and i'm never tempted to breed with them just because it's an option. i always try to buy from people more knowledgable than me whos dogs i admire both type and how they work. good job not everyone thinks the same though or there wouldn't be any

they're lovely dogs,very peacefull until they are working then they really switch on,will work any game but a bit big for rabbits,very good on what they're bred for and fox

what they are teaching our children in school about fox hunting

when my kids(now 18+20) started junior school i went and told the head master we were a hunting family(earned a living at it) and that they wouldn't be at school thursdays through the winter,also told secondry school,they were ok about it. when boy was 9 they had an achievement day,he took in a fox mask and brush (mounted) of a fox we'd killed while he was helping whip-in (infact he knocked it out a bush into the pack but we're not suppose to say that lol) and in fairness they put it on display with the other kids mechano etc. when my boy was 14 he came out of school completely to go into a sh -

i agree with lennard he's still very young and you could easily break his heart,i have a 29"dog 6yrs old and just gets better with age,sometimes running them with another dog helps to sharpen them up (pack instinct and all that!
