you shoot them. used to have this dilema when foxhunting and marked to ground, wether to dig and shoot or leave them,always the land owners decision cos he's only having you on to cull vermin. if you won't do it why would he want you on.

i had some italian and american import neopolitan mastiffs years ago that were cropped, done in different styles and lengths depending on which region of the country they came from. they're done at a few weeks old, cut to shape and then sewn up around the edges.
