Motorbikes. I own a honda VFR VTEC. Recently toured the French Pyrenees.
  1. I had the same problem a couple of years ago, found the pellet group would raise the more shots I took. I sent it back for testing but they simply put it on the Chrono and put ten shots through it, bloody waste of time. Tried all the different pellet variants with no luck, sorry to say I got rid in the end and bought a .22lr. I've not had to zero in 6 months.
  2. could it of not been a farmer, with a shot gun ? Good thinking but if i was a betting man and i am not i would say a pair of white trainer wearing chavs are to blame The vet said they where air rifle pellets but I agree it would make more sense to be a shot gun wound. I'll let her know. Thanks
  3. I found an 12 month old injured Saluki x on Tuesday in the Standish area of Wigan, it turns out it has been shot 17 times with an air rifle, shattering his femur and puncturing a lung. All the shots where at his back end so this wasn't done to kill, this was done for fun. Follow this link to see the dog and X-rays http://www.facebook....50575895&type=1 Cash reward being offered for information leading to an arrest.
  4. Cheers pal, least I could have done mate. I'm determined to put these f****rs in court, if any one recognises the dog PM me please.

  8. Just though I'd let you all know that after reading many a good review I decided to invest in a pair of Aigle Parcours wellies. They where considerably more expensive than I had paid in the past but I thought you would pay for what you get. My last pair where Avon Muck Boots which where OK but the sole wore down at a shockingly fast rate, 12 months and they where goosed. The Aigle where fine for a few weeks and then they sprung a leak on the right boot, around where the sole is bonded to the boot, I contacted the seller as I bought them off ebay and was told to return them so he could

    wellies!!

Dead comfy, really warm but if you wear them daily the sole wears out in no time at all as the rubber is so soft. Disappointed.
  10. The cairn has caught 2...a couple o shakes and its good night rabbit! Yes i let them eat them, no point in wasting it but like i say, i'm not intentionally hunting so just wasn't sure on the law. A lot of dog walkers must find their dogs take off after a critter, FENTON anyone? lol. Just wanted to know the situation thats all. Cheers. If your dogs are eating the rabbits whole, beware of liver flukes!
  11. Sure I saw this exact picture and post about 12 months ago
  12. Try this really easy to use as you don't have to concentrate on squeezing http://www.misotrading.co.uk/acatalog/Trix_Tick_Remover.html
  13. I'm now using a Leupold 6 x 42 fixed power, German reticule. Got a bargain from Uttings.
  14. That bit in bold italics doesn't make any sense. Check the wording, as I doubt that's what it actually says. I've checked the wording and that's exactly as its written, doesn't make sense to me either. Cheers for the replies, I think the best bet is to give them a call and get it clarified. Better safe than sorry.
  15. I already have a .22 fac Air rifle on my licence for which I know my licence is open, a few months ago I made a variation from a 1.77 Air rifle which was also on my licence to a 0.22rf. When I made the variation I asked the f.a.o if this would also be open but he said not, however when they sent my licence back this was the wording used. Sounds open to me but i don't want to ring them in case they change their mind, tell me what you think. The .22 air rifle, .22rf rile, sound moderator and ammunition to which this certificate relates shall be used for the destruction of vermin and for zer
