  3. sounds like he could've tied up mate, a build up of lactic acid common in horses and similar symptoms. tripart paste is good for dogs prone to it, look it up on google. when horses get it we spoon baking powder on back of tongue and it neutralises acid build up and gives almost instant relief.

  10. i had a pure bred american bulldog some years ago that smashed foxes,he hit them that hard he nearly snapped them in half, hardest thing was getting him off em after, took about 20mins he was in such a rage.

  12. i find it interesing to see different breeds work, have seen foxes killed by several mates bull x impressively, i've never had a bull x but have had deerhound x and wheaton x and they do it in a different way but still good. whip
  13. thanks lads my old boy (strider) has been a pleasure to own,been out 5 out of 6 nights this week so still goin strong, he holds his own against all the bull x he's been out with and works day and night,very versitile dog. some fantastic looking dogs there lads, keep posting pics. whip

  15. get mine off dave platts, the 1 i have at moment is coming 7yrs and never disappointed,does all game. understand he recently mated a bitch so should have 1st cross pups soon. pm if you want
  16. also worth contacting your local pack of foxhounds (think it's the flint and denbeigh) and follow them on foot, you'll get to meet the terrier lads and other people interested in hunting, should get number for kennels/hunt supporters off google. all the best whip
  17. i've seen these pups they're real gooduns, all family work well, have been out few times on lamp with dams litter brother absolutely 1st class on all game. they really are bred for performance. whip

  19. my grey/whippet pup is broke to ferrets, goes in the court and eats out the same bowl. old deerhound x is not to be trusted, will not touch em if he thinks i'm watching but the moment my backs turned CRUNCH lol
