    fecking great genny in the workshop, isolate mains supply, power the fuse board on a change over switch. powers whole house except shower or cooker. Heat via log burner or central heating, (Oil Fired) Genny for control. light, via genny Internet and sky tv (Shite-but keeps wife quiet) via Genny Cooking via 2 camping gas stoves. Yeah its a real hardship....

    the primer looked smaller than a pistol or small rifle primer.. how old a round is that .360? thing is, it didnt have a calibre mark on it, which to me, says its old?

    A mate bought a cartridge case in for ID to me today........... but its got me... He found it with his metal detector, close to wear he has found other old brass cases.. Any ideas.. Looks old... Rimmed cartridge. Brass Centre fire Approx case length of 28-29mm Rough neck size of 7-8mm straight, not necked in any way Thoughts anyone? Could be quite old..

    Juice is a generic Scottish term for any liquid in a tin, bottle, carton etc.... so acceptable is 'Tin of Juice' = coke, irn Bru, fanta etc... 'Bottle of juice' Irn Bru, coke fanta, etc.. Catron of juice... Ribena etc... Juice= drink. fizzy or otherwise............... ya ken?

    PES works well on a .243, had one in the past on ma old Sauer.

    if the knife currently has lost its angle.. you have to reintroduce the angle, before it can be sharpened.. It will take some time with the coarse stone... What angle were you you using...? Lanskey is the best sharpener in my opinion...

    Thanks all.... I get a lot of satisfaction from making them. Depends on lots of factors, but these are all sold Im afraid.. Some materials and some finish combinations cost me a small fortune.. The ones posted vary between £13 and £30 across all my posts. Specifics are by pm .

    I have a CZ Hornet......... I use 35gr vmax exclusively for rabbit, crow, fox, out to 200....... Im the limiting factor thereafter.. 13gr of Lil gun is devastating..... Hole on Hole........ doesnt get any better that that. To be honest, if deer aren't on the menu, Hornet comes out the cupboard every time... Stops Charlie dead in his tracks....

    My advice is to put a bit of vaseline about his ears... Protect from chapping... once you have ruled out any form of insect/mite etc...
