Hornet Foxes to 200 yards Rabbits, head shot, to the same distance. Very underrated calibre. I leave the .243 in the cupboard unless, it begs for a walk.

I use a John Wilson 2lb 10foot wanderer rod for roaming about wobbling and using small lures cork handle very light and you can pick them up flea bay for £25 or there abouts I had one of those 20 years ago for my 18th Birthday, fantastic rods!!

I use the same place as Snappy, but on Deer, its called the Atlas joint, and can be done with a variety of tools, including a knife if the animal isnt very active. It may be worth getting someone to show you how to use a knife, if you are rightly concerned about a Centre fire round at close proximity. Remember there is no legal minimum calibre for human dispatch.. Yo can also use a shotgun. I'm really hoping that's a typo, and you meant humane
