  1. Are you putting them through in quick succession? It may be the barrel is getting warm and opening up the group. Also did you run the barrel in, and do you clean it properly?
  2. How many shots and in what timescale? How old is the rifle, and how many shots has it had throught it? I take it it is a sporting barrel, not a varmint barrel? Not having a lot of luck are you???
  3. Also.... I take it you are firing a 3-5 shot group, then adjusting accordingly? Not firing 1 shot and re-zeroing to that? How much are we talking about the zero changing, and what gun/ ammo/scope/calibre combination are we talking about? Similarly, what age and condition is the equipment in?
  4. If by 'scoped' you meen 'zero'd' then you have a couple of potential problems. I will make some assumptions though. 1. you can shoot straight, and you are taking the zeroing shots off a steady support . 2. you are using the same ammo. 3.Same distance of zeroing shots. So, assuming all the above are taken out of the equation. 1. Something is loose..............Scope on mounts, mounts on gun, gun on woodwork. Recheck all bolts. 2. Barrel is a free floating design, that is not free floating.ie touching woodwork. 3.Scope is FUBAR'd 4. Clipping moderator (if fitted) PLease don
  5. I would ask the question....what accuracy do you need? What range are you shooting at? What are you shooting? Lets face plenty of folk are shooting hundreds of deer/fox etc with Factory rifles and ammo.......... So do you need accuracy or do you want it? Just playing Devil's Advocate..............
  6. Its the dog I feel sorry for... 3rd home, and under a year old.. Destined to passed around for life now..
  7. A semi auto isn't exactly a target rifle for club shooting and AFAIK there isn't a practical .22rf discipline (might be wrong as I'm not a target shooter). It's a mad old world, what difference will it make if you have one, two or six rifles for vermin control, there is simple no practical reason to stop you. I'd say I need the bolt action for day time walk about shooting and the bolt action for night shooting where you have to be a silent as possible, or the bolt action for range shooting, in fact you would prefer another bolt action target rifle or say straight that if you can not have the
  8. Both powders are more or less exactly the same. My recipe is for 75 grain V-max driven by 44 grains of H380. John I agree, although I wouldnt quote a load I haven't used...hence my cautious reply..
