  11. You do know that's a polecat yup. a European Polecat... a lot bigger than domestic ones, and a necessity for game bird protection in pheasant pens.. Does serious damage if left uncontrolled. I thought they were protected? Without a license at least, or is that only for certain methods? You are not allowed to set traps to target them specifically, but if caught in a live trap, may be dispatched with a shotgun or other human method.
  12. aye a mates got one...very nice bit of kit... A bit pricey though...
  13. Glyphosate is Systemic, so it will kills roots... In certain agricultural applications soapy water is added to aid application, and ensure coverage. Some consumer brands contain surfactants to do the same thing. Most likely cause of failure is emergence after application... (It is post emergence) or incorrect application.. Otherwise it is a good, safe chemical..

  18. To be honest Ive not yet found a great method to get to get rid of nettles organically.. On areas in our wood we tend to hit them heavy a couple of times a year with the strimmer.. but the only cure is as stated glyphosate or equivalent. But no, VEG can be planted quite quickly after application as it is a contact, post emergence, non selective herbicide, as appose to a residual herbicide. Follow the advice on the packet, and you shouldnt go wrong.
