  2. If you make me laugh again.................. I fecking am Sueing you...
  3. we've kind of changed the question from whats cheap and usable to whats the best... I would agree with the Courtland line being of very high quality, as air the Scientific Anglers stuff.... I also rate the Shakespeare Worcester lines, which is my choice of intermediate.. The same lines are available under no names boxes, you just have to ask your supplier.. I paid £20 quid for mine..
  4. I've used my standard AFTM 7 10ft reservoir rod, and although i've never hooked a monster, all have been successfully hooked and landed. Nicolas Valentine, who works in Glasgow Angling centre, fishes from a Kayak and uses a 5wt rod successfully, and has caught monsters. I think the main reason for using the heavier gear to have weight to cast the larger flies required. Although I normally only use a minnow pattern
  5. yeah, I fish for pike on the fly, and your right, you get immense satisfaction from the smallest jack..
  6. HI all, got a post running in the For sale section looking to exchange fishing tackle. Just a heads up!! http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/251249-fishing-tackle-exchange/

Great Conger/Shark/Skate set up) All basically as new. Ive got a very old collectable beech caster (as new) A Large brand new Mitchell fixed spool beech casting reel in the box as new. An as new spinning rod (Berkley) Probably a load of other stuff if I think about it...
  8. I have a surplus of the following gear.. Carp, coarse, match, specialist, spin, terminal tackle, you name it, some sea tackle, and hell of a lot of carp terminal tackle. Nets, holdalls, Some cane and bamboo rods a right mix. I am looking for additional fly/Salmon gear. (lightweight brook and stream gear-quality only please.) and maybe some salmon gear I also am always looking for unused fly tying equipment, game luggage, etc, etc, Ask... I can only say no!!
  9. Thats about the only thing I haven't tried this year.... I may have to resort to it!! I'm thinking of lighting a fire.... house feels like the artic at the present it's so fecking cold Maybe I should try 'insulating' her!! better not get that mixed up with insulting her

  11. Phoebe wants to come next week............. I could starve her on the Tuesday if it helps???
  12. i think that if the response is positive, they will want to quote you a minimum order quantity, to cover the cost of tooling up and development. I dont think you get offers of individual scopes at a competitive cost.. Glass will be of dubious quality, and as it is a development model, I expect the finish will be mediocre if at all available.. I dont mean this negatively, just being honest with my opinion.. there are good scopes out there that will give you far better quality with a 56mm objective, at a cheaper price, that my guess at what you will be quoted for from china.. be
  13. I've got to be honest and say that there isn't any situation in hunting that I've come across that hasn't been catered for with products on the market. But I'm open to persuasion. So what spec have you enquired about and for what purpose?

Problem is, Ive got a Lab to feed, and its sister at the minute, and its taking a second mortgage to keep the fecker in the manner to which its become accustomed!! Makes the lurchers look like anorexics Dont you waste that dog now.................. This is the problem with you lurcher lads when you get hold of a proper dog you dont know what your doing....
