Cheap chinese shite for £1.99 Inferior galv, weak and flimsy wirework & wont last a season. Weak springs which get weaker with every set. No to mention the suffering you can cause with trap that will hold and not kill in the instance.

Wire wool will drop loose shards of steel. The make up of the wire wool material will snap off and become loose. These will ultimately if unnoticed be left inside the workings of your gun.

You have put up some cracking pictures goldfinch. Keep them coming.

Wire wool will be ok but take care to remove any loose fibres that will shed. It will also remove the blueing on the outside, so reblue and well oil. Scotchbrite works just as well and is a little less abrasive than wire wool. With it being plastic any fibres you miss on the inside will burn off.

I have a game bag and more often than not, end up leaving it in my van. My pockets on the other hand are well stocked with the "essentials"! A good sharp knife. Pellets and spare mags. Mobile phone. Small torch if out at night and the trusty old bailing band and a palm sized lump of dowel to knock up a game carrier. Just incase I forget the bag. Although more often than not, as with the bag I forget to put the twine back in the pocket. Why you would feel the need to carry more than you need is beyond me. What made me laugh was the recent report that was undertaken on the fair pricing of fuel in the uk. Surprisingly the report stated that the uk's fuel pricing was fair and in line with the rest of the EU. Funny that it revealed we were being fairly treated!!? However I would like to say if it had been discovered we were been shafted there would have been public action, demonstrations, blockades etc etc. Sadly we in the uk don't have any backbone.
