She went straight to it ,but it's 3 weeks fed on barley soaked in sour or butter milk,but pluck it,singe it and draw it then stuff it with thyme,bit of fatty bacon over the breast and wrap in greaseproof paper 370 f for 35-40 mins. Many years ago so this book says gull cost more than fillet steak did and many were fattened as domestic birds, so let us know how it tastes Jigsaw...

You know those moments when you know where something has been for the last god knows how long and when you go grab it it ain't there and the misses (who is the one that has moved it) is working late?,well ..But what i can remember is that you had to keep them for 2 weeks and feed them on just butter milk to rid them of the fishy oily taste first , i sort of stopped there if you get what i mean but i'll get on it and get it dug out and will let you know mate..

The 1940's cook book i have has all sorts in it from larks to seagull to swans to blackbirds,just about everything except fox,squirrel,rat and the other predators like stoats weasels otters etc..These things kept our country living ancestors alive and we all turn our noses up at it or folk who do eat it these days ..

I have a 1940's cook book with loads of recipes for Badger, pretty much treat as pork,tasted hedgehog once and that was fecking rank just gristle and fat but i recon cooked correctly and all that i'd have a taste for sure..

The reason i got one was through a bit of curiosity as i'd only heard good things said about them and because i had only heard good things about them. I lost mine when she was just 11 months old but was ticking boxes like she was a wise old dog,but she bushed mooched, ferreted,lamped a plenty and had day timed everything edible up to roe,she was very protective but not overly and if she saw someone and she always saw or heard them before i ever did she'd come and sit on my foot but a pat on her head and a mellow word she was fine and totaly under control . I'll have a good bet with you more crime is commited for class B drugs than class A's by a long way..99.9% of these kids stabbing each other is over weed dealing. Drugs never made me do anything that wasn't in me in the first place,i did some very bad things for drugs but i didn't do anything i wouldn't still do today if i had to..

Box ticking to make the record look good then and neither did the council have any intention to help them quit by putting them in rehab when someone who wanted to quit would have been sent to detox....

Why or who put using drug addicts into rehab?, detox is the first place a user who is trying to quit needs to go,then when their clean they can be taught in rehab to learn how to live their lives again....I met some rotten souls when i was a junkie,but i also met some of my best friends who were lucky enough to come out the other side like i did and those friends would do more for me than any straight friend i have ever had..

Around the time Tommo and Dean done the ton a pal was down at the bricks with his dogs and they kept up with marks and one night it was mark who pulled out of them doing the ton with 2 dogs as my pal said the rabbits were there and they were on 70 odd with plenty still in the dogs tanks. That Minshaw dog he was a dickhead to ,running it and running it till it broke down is the act of a man who won't even be a dogman no matter how much he tries to be....
