Bollocks to this and DSC1/2 .Id like to see anyone stop people stalking as they have always done .The landowner has the last say around me and long may that be so .Shouldnt worry too much as it will only affect paid stalking and those that pay can afford to pay more for that privelige . 6. Spent this afternoon on our local lake trying for a few tench and bream .As soon as we got to our chosen stage, a pike swirled away from the shallows only a small one but i thought i might tackle up for one anyway .We were to use maggot feeders in preference to cage groundbait feeders tipped with brandling worms .I cast out both baits to an area and clipped up .Wasnt long before my boys tip whipped round and was into a decent fish that took him a while to get under control ,no wonder as it was a 7lb tench !. My turn next with a good bream followed by another for the boy .Then it was my turn f

  9. Down at Martins yesterday evening for a sit out on a bank for a buck /fox . The farmer is fed up with foxes taking chickens so the control is carried out all year round now ,on sight . Martin lead out on a bank behind me facing away whilst i faced a sun coated bank that just had to have a buck on sooner or later .Martin is the sort of lad who will put a guest in the best spot and tonight was no exception .No sooner had i got into position than a fox appeared opposite from behind a bush ,sat down and looked at me .I was already setting up the bipod so just a matter of turning it to face and f

  19. ...........which proved to be his undoing.Had a look at a small farm i have last evening and glassed a buck standing in a cut field on the lower ground and still with the tractor cutting nearby as well .I phoned the farmer who was personally in the tractor to ask how long he would be ,a bit cheeky but i know him well enough by now .Sat glassing the whole area and watched a fox mousing on the edge of the swaths jumping way up in the air to land on some hapless mouse no doubt as i could see him chewing out the side of his mouth ,and this still with the tractor cutting ever decreasing circles .Th
