    ...........which proved to be his undoing.Had a look at a small farm i have last evening and glassed a buck standing in a cut field on the lower ground and still with the tractor cutting nearby as well .I phoned the farmer who was personally in the tractor to ask how long he would be ,a bit cheeky but i know him well enough by now .Sat glassing the whole area and watched a fox mousing on the edge of the swaths jumping way up in the air to land on some hapless mouse no doubt as i could see him chewing out the side of his mouth ,and this still with the tractor cutting ever decreasing circles .Th

    I dont intend to pass either .They are for people who know feck all and require a fast track just to be allowed a deer rifle .I learnt ,am still learning the hard way and will not be taking any fecking test to that effect.Its a big con ,i know it ,you know it but why support it .More than i earned on a trowel ,good one mate I dont use a trowel these days as i employ 25 brickies to do just that for me .Thats hell of a lot of deer to match what i earn .Look forward to your article in Darcys new book though mate ,seriously.

    I know many of you will have seen odd coloured rabbits but here in wiltshire seeing a rabbit is odd at times .Took Local out for a stalk the other evening and thought i'd take the .22 to see if the ginger rabbit was about that id seen previously .The long and short was that although we saw plenty of does ,we never saw a buck but did manage the ginger rabbit off sticks as i rounded a corner .Shot a normal one for comparison to feed the dogs as well .

    Badgers skull is the only one that retains the lower jaw .Every other british mammal skull will be found seperate to the lower jaw .

    Im very surprised actually ,to see film of a dipper in such an obviously poluted and rubbish ridden waterway .Dippers are usually indicative of clean flowing water .Good vid but spoilt by the crap to be honest .Anywhere in Wales mate as every river looks like that, that ive seen over there .lol.

    Whats been said about illegal pics is true but then theres idiots and self appraised hard men in every sport . Lets not get paranoid to the point of not posting pics as then what is the point of this site .Some discretion needs to be undertaken by the person posting i suppose but one thing is certain -The fate of dog work in Ireland is in the hands of the dogmen and not the politicians .On a lighter note ,it looks like a conservative win come the next election so we will be back to square one ,NOT
