    This is that malformed i shot early season from just up the valley to where you had yours .No colour whatsoever but a healthy 575grams .Reckon i shall get it scored one day .

    JUST A QUICK REVIEW TO SAY IM VERY PLEASED WITH THE SETUP AND NO DRAWBACKS YET .HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ALL IN CONJUCTION WITH A LIGHTFORCE 170 LAMP . BIT PRICEY BUT WHAT PRICE CAN YOU PUT ON COMFORT AND REIABILITY .

    Personally ,a mans tattoos dont really do it for me but whatever floats your boat i suppose .In my experience ,first impressions are just that and many a mistake has been made by a quick judgement .You never know a man until youve stalked with him and then a good judgement can be made of their experience /take on the world around them . You may honestly believe you are good at what you do but theres always someone to show you a better/quicker way of doing what you take for granted .Just my take on life from someone whos not at the top of his tree .     gods country for me is ebbw vale in south wales thanks for your comment i had loads more to say about my trip but i run out of space Cracking trip there mate ,hope to do the same again someday ,something magical about the highlands i think .ATB.

    Munties are notoriously hard to skin well ,you did a tidy job mate ,seen a lot worse .Muntie is ,in my opinion ,the best eating of the lot but does benefit from hanging a few days as does any game but like you said ,needs must .Hooked for good now mate .

    Tuesday evening saw me finish work earlier than usual to get down to Martins in daylight for an evenings stalk.Martin decided on a plce that ive been before ,several times ,and where he shot the strange malform earlier in the season .The ground lends itself to stalking perfectly as the hedges are hazel which overhangs the fields nicely to walk beneath without creating a silouette .There is a natural bowl here that the deer love on warm evenings but to night they were out in the pasture,4 all told ,a young yeld doe ,a doe and twins and a buck that was annoyed by the twins attention it seemed as

    Years ago when i were a lad ,we used to do a place that was heaving and i mean heaving ,the grass was like a bowling green and this was the farmers mowing grass .We relentlessly did it every Friday night with dog and .22 but never made an indent .My lurcher at the time was a terrier cross long dog ,a stamina machine if ever there was one .One night we tured up with dog and gun and started a circuit as we always did but that night was different .The wind was strong enough to prevent my mate from holding the .22 steady so the dog ran everything .Squatters were aplenty and these she nailed i
